Aborted fetus

pandawinx Firstly, yes- i do realise this probably shouldn't be classed as a photo, as it is a collection of photos, however, i felt a bit too uncomfortable classing it as "wallpaper". Secondly, let me verify that i am in fact very pro-choice (Which is entirely different from being pro-abortion), but i do understand why someone might feel degusted/upset/bemused by abortion and that's why i made this. I'm pretty sure they're all real, but pictures like that aren't too hard to fake. :P

Roxas1314 Fake...and I consider these photos, when used to instill fear and hatred towards women who get abortions, as some sort of graphic exploitation of children...just to make them stop being jerks and defile both the woman and child with these... I've been getting into this topic more and more on Facebook...got some scary people on there...

pandawinx ^ I completely agree. But question...How can you tell they're fake? Not that i don't believe you, I'm just curious.

DarkCEpitome Well, I know the middle one in the bottom---the with the infant girl aborted near the beginning of the third trimester, with normally formed legs, arms, body, head, beautiful face whose fate is now to move from her pool of blood to a cold, hard bucket---is most definitely real... Although I can see why some would want to say the opposite...

Chaann94 Fake. By the time fetuses have hair, it's too late for an abortion(4 months I believe). Those babies were born dead. So the babies which are larger than a hand were born dead, not aborted. Also fetuses that small can't have fingers and toes that obvious. They first are all connected before the skin in between the fingers disappears. Oh and the pictures with the arms and legs spread like that; the fetus is first in the fetal position, the bones, muscles and other tissue are way too underdeveloped to be able to stretch like that. Sorry to ruin this picture for the pro-lifers.

bri-marie ^Depends on where you go. In the U.S. only 36 states have a ban on late term (24th week and later) abortions. Also @chaan; the fetus' hair starts to grow at [url="http://www.whattoexpect.com/pregnancy/your-baby/week-11/yoga.aspx"]11[/url] weeks, and is usually visible by [url="http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/fetal-development/PR00113/NSECTIONGROUP=2"]22[/url] weeks, which is before the cut-off for abortions. The fingers and toes separate at [url="http://www.ehd.org/dev_article_unit8.php"]8[/url] weeks. Long before the cut off for abortion. And in the pictures where they were stretched out, that wasn't something the fetus did. The person to took the pictures did that to show their size.

Chaann94 ^ My bad, I mixed up weeks with months, I should be online after 11 pm anymore XD And someone stretched them out after they were aborted?! I thought touching an aborted fetus was illegal... We had a discussion about abortion with our class about a week ago and our teacher is almost die-hard pro-life and I was disappointed in him that he showed it like that. But that's not my point... Anyways he said; 'imagine you and Dave(guy in my class who's pro-life) and you have a baby right now. you want to abort it and he wants to keep it. what do you tell him?' My answer was; 'I'd tell him to go make another baby because this one is leaving. Putting on weight fast runs in my family. If I don't have the time to make up a balanced diet(not as in dieting but what he/she eats) and pay for all the sport aquipments he/she needs, I don't want him/her to be born yet. I want my kid to have a nice life, being obese isn't.' At that, Dave said he'd go to court. I told him I don't give a crap if I end up in jail, I'd get that abortion. I care more about my kid to have a carefree life than that I have him/her and that kid gets obese because of my crappy genes. What I'm trying to say is that everyone has a reason why he/she wants to wait with the baby. These photo's are disturbing because the photographers are basically harrassing the babies' corpses. And for what? So that they can scare girls and women who really want an abortion? That's why I hate pro-lifers who advertise.

Aren't teachers by law required to be unbias when dealing with debate at school? To only show facts and to encourage you to consider other people's oppinions rather than just promote his/her own? There was a teacher who got fired for openly telling his class that homosexuality is a sin. I can definately see why you felt dissapointed in your teacher if he was being bias. Teachers don't just exist to show you the answers (or how they perceive them to be), they should just guide the way and leave you to make your own choices about what you believe in.

Chaann94 ^ It wasn't a debate it was a "socratic conversation". And he didn't exactly say he was pro-life but it was written all over his face. He did guide us. Like he asked me questions about abortion and he told me that there was a surgical equipment that crushed the aborted babies' heads. I think he was just trying to let me see the other side of the discussion. Don't get me wrong, I totally agree with you! I'm only defending him because I really respect him a lot.
