Duncan's POV:

After I walked away from Courtney that girl I kissed earlier showed up...what was her name...oh, her name's Karolina or Kristina or something of that nature...

"Duncan! Come on, let's go dance or something!" She was obviously wasted madami than a lotta people here.

"Hey....you! I'm sorry, but I gotta go!" I held up my police badge, "duty calls."

Now, I know what you're thinking! I was a total delinquent, and now I'm like my folks. A police officer. Long story short, I wanted to be with Courtney without jaily interruptions. And my parents had a good relationship with some police people, so I could stay with her.

Now that made me even madami wanting to annoy the heck out of her. And yet it made me even madami scared of her, not that I'd ever give her that pride.

"Princess," I sinabi the name so sincerely and sweetly that it was hard not to give me a chance. A trait of mine that I can't say I hated.

"Don't you dare 'princess' me! I'm no longer your princess. You ruined that when you kissed that damn girl!"

"This isn't worth the fight, we had that fight months ago. Now is the time when I make a failed attempt to tell you that I pag-ibig you and I don't wanna hurt you, but you don't believe me. Then I make another failed attempt to prove it, but you still don't. Then I have to halik you to ipakita you that I really care.

I mumbled back to myself, "Yeah, and you sinabi that last time."

I walked into the lobby of the hotel and sat down in the waiting area that overlooked Niagara Falls. I even have to admit that it was beautiful.

It reminded me of back at TDWT, where it all broke down.

I meant it, I loved Courtney. All the other girls were just there to edge off the curve of it. You know how when you're hungry, and you eat something small to curve the edge of your hunger? That's what other girls were for me.

I know it's rude, but Courtney....Courtney...,"Duncan," Courtney's voice said.

I thought she was in my head for a second, but then I looked up and she was standing there, looking all beautiful.

When I sinabi nothing she said, "You were right."

"About?" I asked.

"Everything."

She rolled her eyes, and before she kissed me she said, "You halik one madami girl, and I will kill you in the sickest ways possible."

I smirked, "I embrace that, Courtney."
