Chapter 2
"You girls always care about how you look." Skipper said, "And you don't see us guys fighting over clothes."
"And you don't see us girls teasing guys just because we want your attention." Madi said. (A/N: Sorry if thats biased. I was young at the time when I wrote this.)
"Touche." Skipper said. They walked into the mall. (A/N: Yes, they walk right into a regular mall into plain site XD)
"I'm going to Aeropostale, Sephora's, and Abercrombie and Fitch. Meet you guys at the pagkain court in two hours?"
"Since when does it take a girl two hours to find a disguise?"
"Well, I have to get a new outfit, a new pair of shoes, makeup, and-"
"Ok! I get it! But since we don't need a disguise, what can we do?"
"Everyone needs a disguise, and you can't use the one you already have. The agents will see right through it!" Madi took Kowalski's notebook and pencil.
"Hey!" Kowalski said. Madi scribbled stuff down and tore off the page. She gave it to Skipper.
"Go to these stores and buy a tuxedo." Madi said.
"Why a tuxedo?" Private asked.
"And why did you take my notebook?" Kowalski asked. Madi gave the notebook back to him.
"Because you're going to a sophisticated party tonight at the ibong dagat Council HQ."
"What?!" The penguins yelled.
"But what if we get caught? What if YOU get caught? You will be destroyed!" Private asked.
"I'm not going to the party." Madi said. "I'm going to get Blowhole's file from General's office."
"Do you realize the chances of you surviving?" Kowalski said.
"Statistics won't help me break into an office. Lucky for me, everyone is required to wear pagbabalatkayo masks, so nobody will recognize me."
"Are you sure this is a good idea?" Skipper asked.
"I'll be fine, and so will you AS LONG as you don't act too obvious!"
"Since when are we too obvious?"
"The other time when you were...just don't make yourselves look obvious. And that means,"-She looked at everyone closely-"No regurgitating explosives, no science, no cute, and definitely no fighting!" Madi said. "See you in two hours!" She sinabi sweetly.
Madi walked into a dress store and eyed the dresses. Hmm...the black dress looks sophisticated and professional, but the blue dress would hide my weapons better. She thought. Madi decided to get both, with a couple of wigs. She left money on the counter and added a note with it. Suddenly, the door of the store closed. Madi froze. Then she heard mumbling behind the counter. She looked there and saw the owner and cashier passed out on the floor. She reached for her hand gun, but it wasn't there.
"Looking for this?" Madi turned around and saw Derek with a gun. He shot it. Madi ducked. The bullet hit the pader behind her. Madi put her dresses down and ran to the phone. (A/N: There is a telephone in the store) Derek continued to shoot at her. She ducked and jumped. She grabbed the phone and prepared to dial. Derek shot at her flipper. She dropped the phone and ran into the fitting rooms. She took out her walkie-talkie and turned it on.
"Skipper?" Madi whispered.
"Madi? What's wrong?" Skipper asked.
"It's-" Madi was interrupted sa pamamagitan ng a bullet. The bullet hit the device and it fell to the ground and broke.
"Madi! M-m-m-" Then there was static.
"Madi! Come out of the fitting room! Or face a bullet!" Derek shouted. Madi looked around for any signs of escape. Then she saw the ceiling. Derek jerked open the door. He had the gun in his flipper. Madi watched from above on the ceiling. Derek bent over to look at the demolished device. Madi dropped from the ceiling and onto Derek's back. She grabbed the gun and checked the amo. It was empty. Perfect Madi thought sarcastically. Derek knocked it out of her flipper. He grabbed her flippers and flipped her. Her back cracked when she hit the tile. Derek lifted his foot to walk out of the small room. Madi grabbed his foot before he walked out.
"What the-?" Derek tried to walk out, but Madi was holding him there. He eventually walked out, but he was dragging Madi with him. Madi grabbed her empty gun off the floor, got up, and hit Derek in the head with it. He dropped to the ground unconscious. She put his badge on him and grabbed the gun. She threw the gun across the room, behind the counter. She grabbed her dresses and opened the door.
"Thank you for the dresses! Have a nice day!" Dealing with the cops! Madi thought. She ran out of the door and crashed into Skipper.
"Sorry, Skipper! Are you on your way to the pagkain court? I'm starving, especially since I dodged bullets!" Madi joked.
"What?! We thought you were killed!" Private said.
"Yeah, if you haven't noticed, I've almost been killed everyday!" Madi said.
"True, but maybe we should retreat, because I think I hear sirens." Kowalski said. Sure enough, police and ambulansya sirens were going on outside.
"And I think you're correct. So much for eating, but at least there will be pagkain at the party." Madi said. They left the mall and headed towards the ibong dagat Council HQ.
