In Malfoy manor- Why do you think Draco tried to save Harry, but not Hermione?

Draco is a coward. Saying, "I don't know if this unrecognizable guy is someone I know who'd been hit with a stinging jinx" is far easier than standing up to Bellatrix and saying "Hey, leave her alone!" Lying about recognizing Harry wasn't going to do anything for or tohim. None of the occupants in the room could prove that he knew it was Harry. But trying to save Hermione would easily get him killed, either sa pamamagitan ng Bellatrix or sa pamamagitan ng Voldemort later.

I think Draco is afraid.. Or maybe Malfoy still have a conscience that made him want to hel Harry??


If the last is right... I'll change my point view of Malfoy...

Well Harry And Him Have A Lot In Common. Their Lifes Are Shit, Draco Has The Dark Lord On Him And Harry Is In pag-ibig With Ginny But Does Want Her HURT God I Fell For Them I Relly Do........

it is probably cuz draco nh harry hav knew each other for a long time nd draco dosent like being a death eater it is ovious that he does not like in u can see his face

I think that there are a few different reasons he didn't try to save Hermione.

1) To say stop to his aunt , he would have disowned and tortured and killed.

2) sa pamamagitan ng trying to cover for Harry, he is giving the oppotunity to escape and to help Hermione and the others in the cellar.By this he could get them to safety, but as Draco is being watched he couldve gotten them all killed trying to help them.

3) He wants voldemort gone after everything and know if he can save Harry he can get rid of voldemort.

4) He liked Harry to an extent and didn't want him dead

I think he just didn't want to get involved. he didn't want any of them killed, but saying 'I don't know' is easier than actually doing something about it.

hmmm...b/c she is a mudblood,i guess but he doesnt like harry either....hmm...

Why deny knowing Hermione, when Narcissa had already claimed that she had identified the former?
