i just rented it on itunes and just before it started downloading it sinabi "are you sure you want to rent this? it is rated [MA 15+] please confirm you are over 15" im pretty sure its just m not ma

According to the IMDb, Amazon, and Warner Bros. sites, and my DVD case, it's PG13.

Though, it is strongly suggested that the parent check if the movie is appropriate for their child or not. Some of the material may be inappropriate, if you are not of the right age.
But that is not always the case.
Harry Potter is an exception, for there is no nudity, swearing, drugs etc in the OoTP. Even so, you should have a parent check if you can watch or not. Hope that helped! :)
