One loooooong bangka ride later...
I looked up after getting off of the boat. My mouth dropped open in surprise. I saw a huge building, bigger than any house I've ever seen. It was lit up, and it looked as if it was inviting us in. Hagrid knocked on the front doors three times, and it swung open. I knew I had to be dreaming. The room could fit several houses in it, and the ceiling was so high, I could barely see it. I stared around in awe, and noticed everybody else was going into another room. I followed. The room had 4 long tables stretched out across the room, big enough to fit several hundred people. I saw an old, wise looking man in the front of the room, at a mesa with other adults. He must be Dumbledore. I saw many people, one tall thin man with black hair who looks like he had never washed it, one person with short, grey hair, wearing a pointy hat, and many others.
I wondered which I would be in. Would it be a physical test? I shivered. I might pass, but being wizards, they would probably complicate it.
The woman with short grey hair got up, and explained about house points, and the houses. She walked out of the room, and, a few segundos later, came back in with an old, brown hat, that looked as though it would fall apart. Was this the test?
A rip appeared in the hat, and it sang,

Oh,you may not think I'm pretty,
But don't judge on what you see,
I'll eat myself if you can find
A smarter hat than me.
You can keep your bowlers black,
Your tops hats sleek and tall,
For I'm the Hogwarts Sorting Hat
And I can takip them all.
There's nothing hidden in your head
The Sorting Hat can't see,
So try me on and I will tell you
Where you ought to be.
Y ou might belong in Gryffindor,
Where dwell bravo of heart,
Their daring, nerve, and chivalry
Set Gryffindors apart;
You might belong in Hufflepuff,
Where they are just and loyal,
Those patient Hufflepuffs are true
And unafraid of toil;
They can find anything,
And they never foil.
Or yet wise old Ravenclaw,
If you've a ready mind,
Where those of wit and learning,
Will always find their kind;
Or perhaps in Slytherin
You'll make your real friends,
Those cunning folk use any means
To achive their ends.
So put me on! Don't be afraid!
And you won't get in a flap!
You're ligtas in my hands(though I have none)
For I'm a Thinking Cap!

I was not without worry.
He called out a name. "Annie, Mat!" He put the hat on his head. Almost instantly, it yelled, " GRYFFINDOR!" The mesa on the far left cheered. I hoped I would be in Gryffindor, it sounded like the coolest house. I saw Harry, Hermione, and Ron at the mesa too.
Next, I heard my name being called. "Basil, Miranda!" I shakily walked up to the stool. I put on the hat, and thought, "Please be Gryffindor, please be Gryffindor, please." It seemed as though the hat heard me, yet he yelled, "RAVENCLAW!" The Ravenclaw mesa cheered as I walked over I thought I heard some relcuctancy in the hats voice. Correction, I knew I heard some reluctancy in his voice. But I had other things to worry about. I didn't know ANYTHING about wizards, and the hat sinabi I was very smart. What should I do? I thought about that the whole time the hat was sorting people.

When people tell me that James “grew out of bullying”, I always respond with the canonically sound FACTS that James Potter was 21 when he died, 20 when Harry was born and *19* when Harry was conceived. He had *no time* to change out of his bullying bullshit personality towards Severus. Just take a look around you and see if you can name half a dozen of your under-21 male friends/acquaintances who YOU think would make such an awesome hubby and father right now (oh, and don’t discount the bullies you know who pick on people “just because they exist”). And when we keep telling you that...

As many people here on the Harry Potter spot know, Sirius Black is my paborito character. He has always been and always will be. Some people, along with me, pag-ibig him. Some hate him. Some don't have much of an opinion on him. I've decided that I want to explain why I like Sirius, and how I came to like him.

I saw HP 1-6 pelikula before pagbaba any of the books. I remember loving Sirius, even before I read the books. I believe the reason I liked him at the time was the relationship he had with Harry. Harry never really had a father figure, and Sirius was the first family he had. I must have thought...

Here's a comparison and contrast essay I wrote for school - keep in mind my English teacher has never read Harry Potter, so I had to explain stuff.

When comparing a book and a film, or something similar, the first thing one thinks about is obviously the plot. And in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, at first glance, you'll find it's rather similar in both the book and the film. Harry, Ron and Hermione, the main trio, go to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for their sixth year. They're shocked when they find out that ex-Potions Master Severus Snape has been named Defence Against...

This artikulo was inspired sa pamamagitan ng comments sa pamamagitan ng Pensieve_Seeker. It lists 40 examples of ring composition within the series.

1. Voldemort's first defeat is discussed in the first chapter of Philosopher's Stone. He returns in Goblet of apoy and is defeated for the final time at the end of Deathly Hallows.

2. Harry sees his late parents in the Mirror of Erised in Philosopher's Stone. He sees them again via Priori Incantem in Goblet of Fire, and again through use of the Resurrection Stone in Deathly Hallows.

3. Harry becomes an orphan at the start of the series, and in Deathly Hallows his godson, Teddy...

5. Hermione Granger

Obviously the most mature of the three of the five main characters. I feel that every trio needs the brains, which I believe Hermione has successfully provided for them. Even though I hated her at the beginning of the series, she grew as the series grew pushing her into my tuktok five.

4. Ron Weasley-

Same with Hermione, even though I did like him since the beginning I felt he grew with the series. I did get a little annoyed at his continuously being envious of Harry and his own brothers, I guess all characters have their flaws. I pag-ibig Ron!

3. Lord Voldemort-

Or He Who Should Not...

Thanks to zanhar1 for the idea. it was brilliant xD

*Also like to point out, this is like a crack!fic so non of the characters will act like they usally do*

It took a lot of yelling and arguing, but Bellatix finally did it. She finally got Voldemort to go to the tabing-dagat with her.
Once they got to the tabing-dagat they both hissed at the sunlight. They weren't too fond of it since they preferred the dark, If you couldn't tell from their pasty pale skin.
Bellatrix had pick out a nice swimsuit to ipakita off for the lord, since she really wanted him to like her. Voldemort on the other hand, was covered head...
