Huddy LJ? HELP!?!

So, I just got a Live Journal because I pag-ibig to write and read fanfic. My only problem is that I have no idea how to make templates or where to put the HTML!! I'm pretty good with HTML and I'm not too bad at editing...Can someone please give me some sites or tips that can help me?!
