susunod araw House was working with tough case, so he doesn‘t had time to talk with Cuddy and no serious reason, but after last night he was so excited. His team didn’t noticed his excitement, but Wilson did. In lunch time they sit sa pamamagitan ng the same table, like always. House wasn’t very hungry and he had little smile on his face, it seemed very suspicious, House never smile without reason, or if he does, then reason have to be very, very serious.
“- House.. how is your case ?”, Wilson asked just to see House reaction, he analysed his friend hoping to see some kind signal. “- Mh .... ? yeah it’s ok... it’s tough but there is no cases I couldn’t solve”, he wasn’t focus like usual, but he tried not to ipakita it with making jokes and proud of himself. But Wilson was waiting for this his nervous, so he didn’t believed
. “- House... well tell me, what’s going on?”, Wilson was smiling to House, like ipinapakita how observant he is. “- Why you so smiling?”, House face become very serious, he started analysing his friend, but Wilson started it first. They were watching at each other, tough eye war, earlier House would win, but now situation changed. He lose.
House didn’t wanted to talk about it with Wilson, nothing happened yet. But he is his best friend, he always saying everything to him.
“- I’m thinking to try again.”, Wilson face become questioning, “- I met him in bar, drinking.”, House made eye contact, like Wilson suppose to understand now, “- Who..? Wait , Lucas? You mean, you will try again to... split them...?”, Wilson looked confused, is this why about House was so weird? “- Does Cuddy know about him drinking?”, House get smiled widely, “- Not yet...”, Wilson get little shocked, “- And you think if you will say it to her it will help to split them..? That’s ...naive”. He looked misunderstood, Wilson sit there rethinking, while House stood up and left him alone.
House knew that after lunch he could find Cuddy alone in her office. Have a reason to go he took some files for Cuddy to sign. He found her alone exactly as he hoped. He came inside pagganap very serious, even too serious.”- I need your sign for treatment”, he came close and put files on her table, “- For what treatment..?” she looked questioning, she took files and started reading, “- Have you did biopsy to approve your diagnose?”, they looked at each other very serious.”- There is no time”, he start nervously thinking how to tell her, “- I heard your patient is stable, so do your biopsy. I saw your team going for lunch, so it means you have a lot of time and you could do even madami test for approval”. she start smiling ipinapakita her being boss, House smiled back, “- Oh, damn, you so smart”, he smiled at her like flirting, “- So sad, that you are not so smart in others aspect in your life..”, he get smiled and start leaving, but she get confused and stopped him, as he had hoped. “- Wait a minute, what that supposed to mean..? Lucas?”, she get disappointed , she hopped that House left them alone. “- I told you, you are smart”, he came closer again, “- If you want to be with him, then why you asked his to slow it down ?”, she get shocked, “- How you know about it ?”, he came closer, “- I saw him yesterday, in the bar, drinking.”, he get smiled little bit, she sit rethinking, it was hard to believe about Lucas drinking. She doesn’t know can she trust in House, or maybe Lucas this time. “- If you don’t want to be with me, then why you answered to my kiss,... and if you want to be with Lucas why you asked him to slow it down....? Just please tell me the truth. Don’t do it with me”, his voice sound sad even desperate. “- I told you that we won’t be together..and my relationships with Lucas is not your business,” she was confused and nervous, she didn’t know what to say for House, but no matter what is between them, first she have to rethink what is between her and Lucas.
House disappointed of her answer, he hopped to find some hope for them. He just nodded and left. Not to think about her he came back to work. Medicine is only thing where he knows exactly what to do.
In job ending Wilson came into his office to see is he is going home, they live together. He found House thinking with balls in his chair, he saw his bad mood. “- I see your plan didn’t worked...I don’t even think that she believed you.” Wilson wanted to comfort his friend, but he knows exactly that in pag-ibig nothing is comforting. “- I think no matter what he would done, he still will be better choice than me”, his voice was sad but calm, like he is already reconciled with that. “- Are you going home? We could see some movies, or get drink...” Wilson doesn’t wanted to leave his friend alone in tough situation, “- No..I’m not....my case in not finished yet”, House wasn’t in mood to work, but he just can’t not to do anything either.”- Ok, good luck, see you tomorrow”, House nodded, and he left.
Later his team came back with the results, and they all together solved the case. No matter of House’s bad mood you can’t change the fact that he is a genius.
His team left home, but he stayed, in job he feels better, being in hospital means thinking about illness, and being at tahanan means thinking of her.
An oras later he was lying in his chair when Cuddy came inside.”- What are you doing there? I heard you solved the case...”, he get scared seeing her, he wanted to be alone to be without her, “- You are always saying that I’m always late to work, so I decided to sleep there...and what are you doing there...? Running away from your kid?”, talk to her is easier sa pamamagitan ng making jokes, “- I worked, and before going home, and decided to check all hospital”, she looked tired, she is working very hard, “- Are you drinking there..?”, she noticed Vicky bottle on the floor, and get mad, “- You blaming Lucas drinking but you are not better one”, he get nervous, he doesn’t wanted her seeing him in this way, “- Don’t blame me, we both drinking with the same reason...You”, he bled his eyes to the floor. “- House...I....”, she felt guilty, she doesn’t want to make him suffering, “- Go home,... you need to get sleep, boss have a lot of works”, they looked at each other, and after long minuto eye contact she get deep breath, nodded and left. She felt relieve that she doesn’t had to finish her sentence.
