Cuddy was beaming as she stepped off the elevator and headed toward House's office. She couldn't help but to smile. He had brought back her med school mesa as a way of ipinapakita that he did care. It had to be one of the sweetest acts he had ever committed.

The cafeteria was pretty busy today and they needed the extra tables and chairs for people to sit so House sat at the biggest mesa so that no one would want to sit near him. His devious plan worked. Chapter 13 - Bad luck! Maybe not so bad –

After such a night, with so many emotions, Cuddy was still shaking. The kiss! Feeling him so close... his smell... his touch! She knew that the susunod araw had to come, even though she rather stayed in that night forever. Dealing with him was inevitable; after all, he was her employee.

Cuddy was sitting on the sofa stroking the plush teddy bear. Her eyes were swollen red from all the tears she had shed since losing baby Joy earlier that day. The baby died along with the mother.
