Hi there! I haves successfully finished my 2nd fic "Truth or Dare" so I need another story to be running during hiatus.
Like I've sinabi many times before I'm a horrible fanfic writer because I forget of my stories and leave all my readers hanging, that's a bout to change. I've been working in this story for 2 months and I have written 10 chapters, so I won't leave you hanging so dreadfully.
Anyways, this is the first chapter. I hope you like it and enjoy it ;)
Guarda la Luna is in italian (the fic obviously in English) it means look at the moon.
I warn you that this story has pretty weird twists but you'll get to it.

He passed his palm through her cheek.
“Everything’s gonna be ok.” He whispered against her ear. She sobbed against his chest.
“I just don’t want this to be over.” She raised her head and swept away her tears. Hugh looked at her eyes, they had been redden sa pamamagitan ng her sorrow. He caressed her hair, moved his hand to her neck and kissed her forehead. His blue eyes began watering, but he forced himself to push back his tears. He had to believe what he had been telling himself, it wasn’t over. He didn’t believe it, he wanted to, but he knew it was, indeed, over.
“It’s not. We’ve talked about this.” She looked into his eyes and she could tell he was lying.
“I just don’t want you to go. I know you need to but I... I pag-ibig you.” She put her hand in his cheek and relayed her head on his forehead while she continued crying.
“I pag-ibig you too.” He placed a peck on her lips. She took a deep breath and broke apart from him.
“If you did, you would stay.” She sinabi as she stood up from the kama walked around it.
“We’ve talked about this.” Lisa tried to straight her sweat shirt.
“But why leave this if it makes you happy? Why leave what you love?” Hugh looked at his foot.
“Because…”
“And there you are again making up an excuse. Hugh, don’t you realize? You’ll never be happy” Hugh walked fast to Lisa’s side embracing her again.
“Maybe I’m not searching happiness.” Lisa glared at him.
“Then you should have never gotten involved with me. I’m much of a happy person.”
“Lise,” He lifted her chin so that she met his gaze, “You are the most amazing person I’ve met, I wouldn’t want you being any other way. This wasn’t a mistake.” Lisa wiped another tear.
“If this wasn’t a mistake, you wouldn’t be leaving.” She escaped his hold again and walked to the other side of the bedroom.
“You knew it would have to come to an end sooner or later.”
“Then you wouldn’t have started it on the first place. I feel like you made this to make me miserable and make you unhappier.” Hugh saw her silhouette, the bedroom was dark and the only light was coming from the window, in which a beautiful full moon was glowing outside.
“I didn’t do this to harm, I’d never would. I can’t live happy. You know me.”
“No, I don’t! I don’t think you even know yourself. Humans want to be happy, why submerge in this misery? Hugh, I thought I could help you realize you need to be happy.” Lisa put her arms around her chest and held herself looking for some consolation.
“Lise, I’ll never be happy because I can’t be with you.”
“You can and you know it. Admit it! You don’t pag-ibig me madami than your comfy life with Jo.” Hugh approached Lisa, broke her self-embrace and placed her arms around his neck allowing him access to her waist. He hugged her, breathing in her natural scent. She still smelled like his. He placed his lips in her ear and whispered,
“I pag-ibig you, madami than everything I’ve know, but you know we can’t risk it.” She nodded into his shoulder as she let some tears roll down her eyes.
“I’m just gonna miss you so much.” She couldn’t help it, her self-control fell to the ground as she began crying loudly, burying her face into his neck. It was inevitable not to cry but Hugh was motionless of all the pain he felt.
He was holding his lover, the most amazing person he had ever met, and his co-worker for madami than 8 years, he was holding his world. Thinking about every single moment they had spent together, good and bad times, fights and make out sessions. He was leaving his life, his world, his universe. He was leaving his Lisa. Forever.
He closed his eyes and gasped as the pain shot through his puso again. He held Lisa tighter and a tear rolled down his face into Lisa’s hair. He pulled apart and wiped some of Lisa’s tears away, he then moved his hand to her cheek. She inhaled some air and glanced up at him. He looked into her eyes, the sight he had pag-ibig always the most. They were swollen and red because of the crying and yet, they were still shinning. The moon was beaming , reflecting in them, that beautiful moon that will always remind him of her. He kissed Lisa and then held her again.

How the moon glows
as it smiles over you
when you´re dreaming blissfully.
“Let’s go to sleep.” He whispered into her ear.
“I don’t want to. You will be gone when I wake up.”
“I’ll wake you up to say goodbye.” Lisa continued crying when Hugh sinabi the word goodbye. She couldn’t do anything anymore, she had tried everything to make him stay but he didn’t change his mind.
“Ok.” She wiped away the tears and stumbled to the near bed. She opened the covers and cuddled inside the sheets.
Hugh stared at the moon for a moment. He wanted to stay with her forever. If only everything could change, if only he had met her before he met Jo. If he was married to Lisa and not Jo, it would be perfect. He walked towards the kama and sat on the opposite side of where Lisa was.
She had already closed her eyes but Hugh was sure that she wasn’t asleep yet. He rested his back to the kama header and watched Lisa, her cheeks were still wet. He caressed her hair.
Dreaming, flying free,
ligtas in your covers and
warm in your heart.
ligtas with your lover,
his arms now around you.
You´ll drift, soon, off to sleep
floating in the deep.
He laid down and put an arm around Lisa’s waist. He then continued caressing her hair to ease her.
Pray I´m there to pag-ibig you
and when you grow old,
how my pag-ibig still will shine?
He glanced at the moon again and wished he could see her again. He wished to lay down every araw and drift to sleep while being sa pamamagitan ng her side. He wished to wake up susunod to her every morning. He wished a life with Lisa, but he knew he couldn’t have it. He then glanced at the moon, it was like if it could hear his thoughts. The glow wasn’t as strong as it was before.

He caressed Lisa’s hair one last time and then kissed her cheek. He cuddled susunod to her.
Tomorrow would be a tough day, he didn’t want tomorrow to happen. He closed his eyes and began easing himself with pictures of the moon. The moon was enchanting them, carrying them to sleep, shimmering its spell.
