Reality Check
The susunod morning Lisa woke up at the sound of the alarm clock. The clock told her it was 8am, which according to Lisa meant that she had slept-in, but she still felt tired. Not the usual kind of tired though, which was defined sa pamamagitan ng aching leg- and back muscles. When she concentrated on the location of her muscle-aches she stirred, she remembered her midnight-visitor and their screams of passion, which now replayed itself over and over again in her mind. But that had all been a dream, right?
She quickly looked around but saw she was the only person occupying the double bed. And even though her mind kept telling her that that didn’t mean anything she hadn’t really slept with … him…, she was slightly relieved. Her mind was racing as it tried to remember if the events had been real or just a very lifelike dream. Except from one glance around the room, Lisa still hadn’t moved. She was scared, scared that if she moved, she would find the truth… and she didn’t know if she was ready for that. She considered her options. If it had all been a dream then she did have a problem, because Hugh was one of her best mga kaibigan and her having those incredibly intense sexdreams about him couldn’t possibly be good for their friendship… But if it had all been real…, she didn’t even want to start thinking about the complete mess their friendship would be in then…
After another few minutos of thinking and debating, she decided that she should just get it over with. She slowly removed the covers and immediately got nauseous as she was met sa pamamagitan ng her entirely naked body, with her slightly ripped panties laying just susunod to her left leg. It had all been real, no dream, no fantasy, she really did have sex with her best friend, she had slept with Hugh. She suddenly jumped out of kama and made her way over to the bathroom as she tripped over her nighty lying on the ground. O god, this couldn’t be true, this couldn’t be real… she kept telling herself that maybe it this was also a dream and she would wake up in the morning and nothing had happened, but deep down she knew that wouldn’t happen. It was real and now they had to face the consequences.
Hugh woke up with a smile on his face the susunod morning. He felt good, happy even, which he was a little surprised about himself as the long workdays usually didn’t leave much room for him to feel this way. They had been filming on location for the past two days and they would continue to film here for the rest of the week. It was the first time the whole cast was shooting a whole episode on location. Everyone seemed to enjoyed this short trip as the atmosphere was far madami relaxed than usual.
Hugh went to take a paliguan and quickly got dressed and out of his room as he made his way to the breakfast buffet. He couldn’t help but softly sing as he walked through the hallways of the hotel and smiled happily, this was definitely a good day. He didn’t usually have a big appetite in the morning, but now he was starving and couldn’t wait to dig into his overloaded plate of food.
He sat down at a mesa and was just about to dig in as he saw Lisa entering the room. He felt a sudden shiver go through his spine and smiled lazily at her as their eyes met and she seemed to be nailed to the ground, shocked and confused. She quickly regained her senses and walked over to the buffet, got herself some yoghurt and a little kahel juice and started to walk in the opposite direction of Hugh’s table, but made the mistake to glance over at him once again at which he waved her over. Her mind wanted to run away, but her body didn’t seem to agree – that seemed to happen a lot lately - and walked over to Hugh’s mesa and sat down susunod to him.
Hugh saw she was clearly uncomfortable, ‘Is something wrong?’, he asked. Lisa looked up and into his eyes, ‘I, ehm… I think we… ehm… what the hell happened last night?’, she hadn’t meant to be so rude, but she couldn’t think of any other words to phrase her feelings. ‘O my god, I’m sorry Liz, I know I promised I would practice my lines with you and I just…. I’m so sorry… I was just so tired that I think I fell asleep at what must have been 8 or 9 and didn’t wake up until this morning!’ Lisa stirred again, he-he didn’t remember? She started to freak as Hugh observed her reaction, ‘Are you okay?’, he asked concerned. ‘Y-yeah… I-ehm- I just need to lay down for a little while…’, she sinabi and quickly made her way up to her room again…
