The following was my reaction after pagbaba an artikulo written sa pamamagitan ng Piers morgan with a rather enormous mention of Huli. It was orginally written as a comment, but then...well things got a little out of hand and I decided it would be best if I put this out as an article. If you haven't read the artikulo yet, there's a link on this spot, and you really should check it out before pagbaba on. Anyways, please comment with your opinions! I really want to know what you guys think about all this (okay, I say this a lot at the end too...I guess I really am getting crazy and desperate). Haha, aright, enjoy my love-rant!

***

HOLY. FUCK. Okay, I don't like swearing a lot (actually I do, but not normally here) but if anything warrants swearing, it's this. Maybe I'm overreacting, maybe its just an effect of the months and months of speculation and hoping and overanalyzing every single detail, but when something so blatantly Huli comes up, like this, I actually feel as if Hugh and Lisa have finally gone public. I was actually in shock for a moment when I got to the Huli part of this artikulo and right now I can't seem to think straight...

I realize that I sound absolutely crazy right now. But doesn't anyone else feels like there has been a steadily building wave of Huli hints this year, that just keeps on getting stronger and stronger? Of course there was the flirting and adorableness in nakaraan years, but this taon we had the Upfronts, then the avoidance of the public appearances together, and now the promos with those almost unnecessarily steamy sex scenes...and now this obvious hint from one of Hugh's fellow Brits, of all people. All I can say is, my dear GY? The Yeti has been sighted.

@anon I actually read your comment before pagbaba the article, so I was expecting the Huli reference to sound all jokey and sort of yay-let's-overanalyze-a-tiny-piece-of-meaningless-information-again, but the tone of it is surprisingly serious. Not like unhappy, unfunny serious, but this-really-happened serious. And if Hugh really sinabi what he did...then we Huligans can just sit back and wait for the inevitable to happen. No madami need to speculate. It's real.

Think I'm exaggerating about the Hugh's-comments thing? Consider this: Hugh is British (by itself that really doesn't mean anything, as there are many flamboyant Brits [I pag-ibig you Eddie Izzaaarrrd!!] but read on), and he's always been almost excessively polite, occasionally cracking jokes but never coming even close to crossing the line. Whatever pubic flirting he's done with Lisa was always so light that one could always argue that they were never actually flirting. But the fact (HOPEFULLY it is a fact) that Hugh sinabi "Its not...you b*****d!", even if it was sinabi purely as a joke, was a blatant reference to his protectiveness and therefore pag-ibig for Lisa. And Hugh does not do that. He has never done that.

What came to my mind as I thought about this was the relationship between Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz from Bones. They, like Huli, have developed a fandom because of their chemistry. At first glance, it seems madami obvious than Huli: at every single interview you see them in, their arms are touching (or David's is around Emily), and he's playfully trying to halik her. Their flirting is so obvious and unconcealed, it seems equally possible that they're hopelessly in love, or that they are such good mga kaibigan that their relationship could never be anything but platonic: the flirting is just an irremovable part of that. On the other hand, Huli has always been madami restrained, madami about the subtle hints. The glances, his hand gently placed on her waist, her hand resting on his arm. Is you just watched them for a few seconds, maybe after a long araw of work, tired and sleepy, you would think "Oh, they're just costars" and pass out. But, if you were wide awake and alert, and you watched them closely, there would be no doubt to you that there was something going on that the cameras would never be able to catch. This is what has defined Huli throughout House's six years. But what Hugh sinabi to Piers, and we'll have to trust that he's telling the truth, is MUCH madami like something that David would say (going back to my Buto reference...ahh, NOW you see why I included a short essay about them), and this, in my opinion, makes it shocking. For those of you who have never seen a David and Emily interview, it might be a little hard to fully understand what I'm talking about. Youtube it, then come back and read on. Everything I'm saying will miraculously become clearer...

Are you back? Alright lets continue. That last paragraph was getting a little too run-on anyways.

Now do you see how crazy this is? Compare David and Hugh. The classic American, and the classic Brit. Is it not just utterly mind-boggling to think that the Brit has suddenly become the American? Maybe it just came through for one moment, in one sentence, but it was there. That feeing, that way of thinking was in Hugh, and Lisa brought it out in him. Does that mean anything? Well, in my opinion, it says everything. For Hugh to do something that makes me immediately relate him my mind to the David-Emily dynamic is something so unexpected, so crazily...crazy, that I cant even sufficiently describe it. Maybe for most celebrities, saying what Hugh sinabi wouldn't have meant anything at all. No one would read into it, it would just be a haha-aww moment. But we all know Hugh. We know about his reservedness. This is HUGE.

Now all this is, of course, assuming that what Piers (the author) wrote is true. That he's not just a cruel man messing with us and our blood pressures. But I believe that it is true, and if I'm right, then this is a turning point. It really is the beginning of Huli, the first REAL proof that we're not all just crazy. This is the man who spent the night stranded in a snowy forest, like many others in his time, but who was the only one to think to bring a camera. And when he was rescued, blubbering and delusional, his rescuers downloaded the picture onto their computer. "Oh my God" they gasped in unison. It was the Yeti.

I now realize that I didn't talk about Jo or ringless hands or the Emmy's at all, but my writing-fuel is already worn out. I'll leave you guys to discuss those things, because I have to make a trip to the writing-gas station and waste a lot of money on writing-fuel. Damn inflated gas prices! And my stupid brain, which only takes the ridiculously expensive premium writing-fuel!

I can't quite shake the feeling, though, that this whole long-winded essay is a humongous overreaction and overranalyzation, two things that I hate but that always happen to me when it comes to Huli. Maybe it's a sneaking suspicion that Piers was exaggerating in this article, that he made up what Hugh said...ugh. Must not think about that.

But what do you guys think? Was this your reaction, or did you think "Oh that stupid British-reality-show-judge, he's just messing with us." I already know that I'm crazy, but am I delusional now too? Wow, this wave of self-doubt is making my head hurt and, quite strangely, it's also making me hungry. While I go get something munchable, think about this. Okay, you don't HAVE to write a short novel about it, like I have here, but just share your thoughts. I really want to know what you guys are thinking, so I don't turn into a totally insane mess.

Side-note (I promise that this is the last paragraph, I shall not allow this madness to continue any further): my mom is watching House reruns in the other room. I hear Hugh's voice (albeit gravellified and deepified [or maybe deep-fried...okay now I really am going crazy--someone please remind me that puns-that-don't-make-sense can sometimes be painfully unfunny]) and Lisa/Cuddy yelling at him (surprise, surprise). And now, I will actually be doing work. I'm such a good little high-school student, am I not? *angel face*

Ok, I know this is old stuff and we already knew about it but I think this little snatch belongs here...
Lisa was asked to pick 5 songs for KCRW and among them she picked 'Melody' saying...

'' EJL: The susunod selection that you picked here for the Guest DJ Project is from rock ‘n’ roll bad boys, this is The Rolling Stones and actually one of their prettier songs. A song entitled "Melody."

L.E.: "Melody" is off an album called Black and Blue. I don't remember when I bought Black and Blue, but it's my paborito Rolling Stones album and a lot of people have never even heard of it for some reason....
