I pag-ibig my parents.

I don't know how I'll live without my parents, because I realize that they are the only people I'll always have. mga kaibigan don't last forever, and partners don't either. But your parents... they stick with you from the beginning until the very end. Even when they leave the world, their memory and their wise lessons guide you throughout life. The pag-ibig your parents have for you is the strongest pag-ibig ever felt sa pamamagitan ng humans. And I think it would be idiotic to say otherwise.

I fight a lot with my parents. I become insolent and harsh with them at times, and sometimes, I exceed to such limits that I make my mother cry. I make my parents fight amongst each other just because of me and my mistakes. I've done a lot to hurt them. I've lied to them, I've betrayed them and I've hurt their reputation. I always seem to want madami from them, without realizing that they have ibingiay me madami than they have ever ibingiay themselves.

But in the end, Mom, Dad... I pag-ibig you. I get worried when you come to pick me up from school late. I start panicking, praying to God that both of you are fine. Dad, when you go on a business trip for a week, I get anxious on the third day. And I start asking my mom when you'll be back. Mom, I can't even imagine staying away from you. You went away for a week for a job, and nothing seemed right in the house. I feel like screaming when either of you are upset. My head starts to ache when either of you gets sick. Even though I don't ipakita it, I need you guys in my life because honestly, you mean the world to me. If there is no one else in the world but you guys, trust me, I would be happy. Because I know that no one will ever keep me as happy as you two.

You've done so much for me, and I apologize that I'm not able to give you as much. Dad, you work for my education, for luxuries in my life, to give me happiness. You worked so you could give me a perfect childhood. You carried me around on your shoulders whenever I wanted to. You took me out even when you were sick. When my brother was sick and my mother was in the hospital with him, you became my mother as well as my father. You cooked me food, even though you've never done it before in my life. You ironed my clothes and you tucked me into bed. Even now, you give me whatever I want with a smile on your face.

You cry when I'm sick, Mom. You stay up at nights and care for me, making sure I have all the medicines I need. When I can't be bothered to eat, you willingly feed me yourself. I've never told you this, but I pag-ibig eating from your hands. When I come tahanan from school, you give me the biggest hugs. When I'm upset, you're upset. When I'm happy, you're happy. I know sometimes I fight with you, scream at you and think that you want me to be perfect... but deep down, I know that's not true. Whatever you do, it's for me. It's because you want to make me a better person. Mom, when my brother died, I saw how broken you were. I saw it in your eyes... but I was young- I was just 9. Despite the pain, you put a smile on your face so I could have another chance of a proper childhood. Despite that fateful incident, you try to be happy just for me. You tell me that I'm your everything... your son AND your daughter. I can't even begin to thank you for everything you've done. And I can't even begin to apologize for how many times I've hurt you deeply.

Mom, Dad... I know I've done a lot of things... but I know and you know that I pag-ibig you. And I always will.
