My view on pag-ibig is constantly changing between two states of mind, pag-ibig is a lie & pag-ibig is the best thing in the world.
View One: pag-ibig is a lie. an illusion. designed so people can have something to hope for. Don't get me wrong the concept is great but I don't think it exists. If it does exist it causes madami sorrow than joy. The pain of pag-ibig is worse than anything else, physical or emotional. There is no pag-ibig it is an illusion, there is lust & friendship but no love. Caring about someone does not mean that you "love" them.
View Two: pag-ibig is the most amazing thing in the world. It makes you ecstatically happy & it's our entire purpose in life(ok maybe that's an exaggeration). It cures everything & helps you. It is everyone's dream & the best feeling in the world. The joy of pag-ibig is stronger tahn any pain.
