Nick: Welcome to our new show! Here we will talk about comics, from Marvel to DC.
Sunset Shimmer: We'll also do tuktok lists, along with following current events in the comics.
Nick: Today, we're doing a tuktok 15 Best Marvel NOW! Publications. But first, we need some background.
Sunset Shimmer: After the events of Avengers vs X-Men, all Marvel characters were scattered, starting new events and stories. However, unlike DC's New 52, nothing was actually rebooted, though some origins were mixed up a bit.
Nick: Without further ado, here is the tuktok 15 Best Marvel NOW! Publications!
#11: A + X (October 2012 – March 2014)
Sunset Shimmer: After Avengers vs X-Men, many new problems were created. Certain Avengers and certain X-Men who survived the battle would have team ups, resulting in some awesome stories.
Nick: I have a listahan of the best individual issues:
A+X #1 (October 2012)
A+X #10 (July 2013)
A+X #11 (August 2013)
A+X #14 (November 2013)
#10: Thunderbolts (December 2012 – January 2014)
Nick: The Thunderbolts was originally a group of villains working for the government for shorter prison sentences. However, the team is now made of Anti-Heroes.
Sunset Shimmer: This time, the team is made of Anti-Heroes, which really shakes things up.
Nick: The new team consists of Red Hulk, Deadpool, Elektra, Agent Venom, and Punisher. All of these characters are known to be morally ambiguous. It makes it interesting as all of them compare their ethics.
#9: Captain Marvel (March 2014 – present)
Sunset Shimmer: Carol Danvers started as a air force member, then became Miss Marvel, than Mrs. Marvel, and now Captain Marvel.
Nick: Captain Marvel goes on many awesome puwang adventures, eventually teaming up with the Guardians of the Galaxy.
#8: The Amazing Spider-Man
Nick: After the events of Superior Spider-Man, Peter Parker regains his body. However, this leads straight into the events of Spiderverse, an awesome crossover series.
Sunset Shimmer However, the reason this lands so low on the listahan is that after Spiderverse ended, gagamba Man just went back to doing his usual thing. This isn't a bad thing, but it's just underwhelming compared to Spiderverse.
#7: Loki Agent of Asgard (February 2014 – Present)
Sunset Shimmer: You all probably know who Loki is, mostly in part of the MCU.
Nick: However, during the events of AXIS, in which all of the bayani and villains moralities were inverted, Loki became a hero. After the event, Loki kept some of his goodness, and now does missions for Odin.
#6: Ms. Marvel (February 2014 – Present)
Nick: This isn't Carol Danvers, this is Kamala Khan, a teenage Muslim girl who gains super powers after the Terrigen Bomb exploded in Infinity.
Sunset Shimmer: Kamala Khan is a excellent character. She's a nerdy girl who writes Avengers fanfiction, which many fans can relate to.
#5: Deadpool (March 2014 – April 2015)
Scarlet Shimmer: You all know Deadpool. But do you?
Nick: This series of Deadpool is nicknamed "Sad Clown", because Deadpool gets some character development. He gets some actual mga kaibigan and even a child.
#4: Superior Foes of gagamba Man (July 2013 - November 2014)
Nick: Usually, when a story tries to make villains into relate able characters, it fails (cough, cough, Maleficent). However it works here because the villains aren't made tragic, instead it does the opposite.
Scarlet Shimmer: The villains (Speed Demon, Boomerang, Beetle, Overdrive, and Shocker) go on a journey after
#3: Uncanny Avengers (October 2012 – January 2015)
Scarlet Shimmer: After Avengers vs X-Men, many of the X-Men felt out of place and joined a new Avengers team.
Nick: This resulted in a very diverse Avengers team, with various X-Men joining the team. The character interaction post Avengers vs X-Men also provides good drama.
#2: Superior gagamba Man
Nick: Of the various gagamba Man stories, this has to be my favorite. Doctor Octopuses mind is put into Peter Parker's body. However, Otto decides to become a "Superior gagamba Man".
Sunset Shimmer: One of the great things is that Superior gagamba Man does something madami effective in the short run, but it turns maasim in the long run. Superior gagamba Man also sets up Spiderverse very well.

Nick: This story involves the original X-Men (Cyclops, Jean Grey, Beast, Iceman, and Angel) get sent to our time. It's amazing to see Cyclops from the past talking to present Cyclops, who is in banishment. Also, it's revealed that Iceman is gay.
