I agree. I think Rump knew Cora before Regina was even born. Since the ipakita likes to remind us (read: drill it into our heads) that "evil isn't born, it's made" I think we will eventually see how Rumpel "made" Regina evil, possibly orchestrating it from her very birth. This will of course absolve Regina and make us feel real sympathy for her, in that, she never even had a choice between good and evil, only the illusion of choice. This was all a predetermined fate from Rumpel (remember that Rumpel is clairvoyant and therefore can, to some degree, see the future).

In the original fairy tale, The Miller's Daughter makes a deal with Rumpel over ownership of her child. I can see something similar happening here: Rumpel "owning" Regina in that he controlled what happened to her, how she was treated, etc. all to make her into the evil woman she had to be in order to kill her father and enact Rumpel's curse.

TVfan97 Interesting. but i think she is a villain just like rumpelstiltskin, just the 2 of them have their own ways. I like her as a lead villlain, because she makes the show.

robinsparkles97 You know, i love Regina, but I really dont get all this "she's not really a villian" stuff. She is definitely a villian, and so are Rum and Cora. even if this person is right with their theory of Rum manipulating everything, Regina is still a villian because of things she's done to people. I like Regina because she's a villian, it's silly to say that shr's really not.

Recently, I watched Season One episode of ABC-TV's "ONCE UPON A TIME" called (1.07) "The puso Is a Lonely Hunter" for the segundo time and found myself confused over a matter regarding Snow White and her knowledge of Daniel's fate.
