In the pilot, Snow claims that Regina had poisoned her due to jealousy over her beauty, referencing the original fairy tale. However, in An mansanas As Red As Blood, it is revealed that Regina explained to her the true motive for her revenge - Daniel's death - before giving her the apple. Even before this, Snow knew that there was madami to Regina's hate than envy, because she admitted in Snow Falls that she had ruined her life, due to having been the motivation for Leopold asking Regina to marry him.

In The Price Of Gold, Emma claims that she was 18 when Henry was born. However, for him to already be 10 on her 28th birthday, she'd have to be 17 at the time. She'd also still need to be 17 at the end of her prison sentence for her record to be sealed.

In The Shepherd, it is explained that Charming's parents gave up James in exchange for their farm. However, this is retconned in season 6, instead claiming that he'd been traded for medicine which saved both boys' lives. This may have been done because fans were reacting badly to the idea of a couple trading their son for financial reasons, even in a situation where they overwise might not be able to survive.

When Aurora is awakened from her Sleeping Curse, she is told that she was asleep for a taon before the Dark Curse struck. However, in Enter The Dragon, we see that Aurora was cursed before Regina fully became the Evil Queen. This would mean that Regina's corruption, Leopold's death, Snow's time as a bandit, her meeting Charming, their marriage and Snow's pregnancy all occurred within one year.

There is some inconsistency in the ease of travel between the Enchanted Forest and the Land Without Magic. Originally, it is claimed that while magic beans and other means of creating portals can be used to travel to other magical worlds like Oz or Neverland, a Dark Curse is required to access our world. After the Dark Curse was broken, magic beans could be used for travel until Regina undid her Curse and a segundo Dark Curse was required to return to Storybrooke. However, in season 5A, another Dark Curse was needed to return from Camelot without Snow's Curse having been undone. On other occasions, magic beans and portals work without needing a Dark Curse.

In season 2, it is claimed that a magical compass is also required to travel through portals. Otherwise there would be a risk of arriving at a different destination. However, Killian and Cora succeeded in reaching Storybrooke without the compass, despite neither of them having been there previously. The compass is never mentioned again.

When Robin and Regina first meet, he tells her that Marian died as a result of getting caught in crossfire during one of his jobs. However, There's No Place Like tahanan reveals that in the original timeline she was executed sa pamamagitan ng Regina for refusing to betray Snow. Robin never confronts Regina for killing Marian and I find it mahirap paniwalaan that he'd never learned the circumstances of her death.

The flashbacks of Merlin's life in Nimue ipakita that he became immortal 1000 years nakaraan and met Nimue 500 years later. This would mean that the Dark Ones have existed for 5 centuries. However, Rumplestilskin alone was the Dark One for 3 centuries. Either every nakaraan Dark One was killed after a few years, and he was the only one to experience the longevity which came with the dagger's power, or there is an error in the timeline stated.

In Deep Waters, it is revealed that Killian met Nemo and his half-brother Liam during the time of the first Dark Curse. However, it had previously been stated that the people within Cora's shield spent those 28 years under a sleeping spell.

It is not explained how a version of Henry existed in the Wishrealm, when his parents should have been in different worlds and never met. Emma and Regina don't even tanong his presence there.

Earlier seasons depict true pag-ibig kisses as having limitations. They can only be used on curses, not on physical injuries, and they will not work if the individual has already died as a result of a curse. However, in season 6, Henry's true pag-ibig halik saves Emma from a sword injury. It is also not explained why it took Regina and Henry's true pag-ibig halik to break Snow's Dark Curse, when there were true pag-ibig couples together at the time.

There are some inconsistencies in the Saviour mythology. At first, it is claimed that Emma being the product of true pag-ibig gave her magic and made her the Saviour. However, other children of true pag-ibig pairings like Aurora and baby Neal ipakita no signs of possessing magic. There is no mention of Aladdin's parents sharing true love, and Fiona and Malcolm don't appear to. It is not really explained how Rumpelstiltskin was originally identified as the Saviour. Seasons 3 to 5 appear to hint that Regina could also become a Saviour, after her true pag-ibig halik breaks Snow's Curse, but season 6 returns to the idea that only Emma is the Saviour currently, while also giving Rumplestilskin a role as the original intended Saviour.

Season 7 is inconsistent about whether the flashbacks occur in the Wishrealm or in a new area of the Enchanted Forest. When Wish Killian is first introduced, he claims that he has travelled there from his own world. Rapunzel's family appear to live in the Enchanted Forest but Gothel later appears in the Wishrealm, and the ruins of Alice's tower, which should be in the Wishrealm, also exist in the Enchanted Forest. In the last 2 episodes, the Wishrealm is again treated as a separate world.
