Would this be a glitch?

Okay this is what happened I was playing Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Blue Rescue Team and well I was Articuno at Mt.Blaze and well I was in the apoy just minding my own buisness then I saw two Rapidash and well they were going in the same direction following each other then well there was madami Rapidash when I moved another one would sumali them in the same direction they were going in a rectangle connstantly.
Would this be a glitch?

I don't think this is a glitch, Pokemon on the Mystery Dungeon games have a weird habit of moving in set paths when they aren't following you, and I think it's just a coincidence that alot of Rapidash happened to just be stuck in a loop at the same time.
