So today, 7 new pokemons were revealed in a japanese trailer. I for one thought they were unique, especially considering the region they're based in, and the things they were based off.
Tapu Koko
So I'm guessing the Island Guardians are going to be this region's legendary group? Tapu Koko was hinted at E3, but saw we finally get to see it.
It's Electric/Fairy, the segundo of the typing after Dedenne. I see Electric, but not Fairy in it. They probably did it so that we have madami Fairy (Which we need). Tapu Koko looks cool. I'm eager to see the other "Island Guardians" as well. Its ability is Elekimater, which activates Electric Terrain when sent out. I kinda reminds me of Gallade for some reason, which is cool.
Charjabug
Charjabug is...interesting. I really do like how it looks. I always wanted another Bug/Electric since Joltik/Galvantula, and I'm glad they finally made a new one. I personally think it's kinda cool looking, especially for a bug. It looks like the evolved form of Grubbin, but I don't know if that's confirmed. If it is, then I'm happy they're doing something different instead of the "worm/cocoon/butterfly" evolve line.
Vikavolt
"If you didn't like Charjabug, you GOTTA like Vikavolt"

My paborito out of the bunch. Vikavolt looks like a complete monster. Like something you see out of alien movie. It's the evolve form of Charjabug. Vikavolt looks way better than the likes of Vivillion and Butterfree. The face looks mean and the pincers look scary
This is one my team for sure. I just hope it turns out great in battle, which I hope because it looks awesome.
It knows the ilipat Zap Cannon, apparently. So I'm wondering if it's a special attacker. Looks madami like a physical attacker to me, but that's what these type of bugs normally are.
Drampa
What an odd Pokemon XD.
I like how goofy it looks. It looks like that wise old man in RPG games! Grandpa Dragon is probably my segundo paborito out of the bunch X3. Probably will add it to my team, too. What's interesting about it is its typing: Normal/Dragon. Now that's an interesting typing. On one hand, ghost immunity, plus STAB Return which is cool, on the other hand, a fighting weakness. I look pasulong to what Drampa can do. Looks kinda like the tankish Pokemon to me.
Drampa doesn't look like it evolves, so it's probably a single-form Pokemon. Although I did thought it was Dunsparce's evolution.
Bruxish
Bruxish...is probably the only dud of the bunch to me. It's weird, but I can't decide if it's weird good or weird bad. It looks like the one lip isda from Spongebob.
I like how colorful it is, though. It really is quite pretty. Its typing is Water/Psychic, which is a pretty good typing (I don't know how many Water/Psychic we have. I know Staryu/Starmie and the Slowpoke line, but I'm feeling like a forgot some...). It does, however, has a really cool ability called Dazzle, which prevents attacks with increased speed priority from hitting, which will be very useful. Whenever this also applies to the ability Prankster, it was not confirmed, but it would be really sweet if it did.
Bruxish looks like the type of Pokemon that doesn't have an evolve stage.
Cutiefly
Cutiefly, true to its name, is a cute! Its Bug/Fairy, a first in the series (Though I kinda looks like Bug/Electric to me. Or just Bug). This is one of the cutest Pokemon in the Alola region so far (Nothing beats Clown Baby, though). This looks like a Pokemon we get somewhere after the 1st badge. Could be from the beginning of the game, I don't know. I'm not sure if it'll secure a slot in my team, but it certainly is cute! I hope its evolution are amazing, assuming it does evolve (Which I think it will)
Togedemaru
Every region has that one Pikaclone, this gen is Togedemaru. While I normally don't care for the Pikaclone much, I have to say Togedemaru is quite adorable. It's Electric/Steel and has the ability Lightning rod. That 4x weakness to ground is nasty, though...
If the history of the Pikaclone repeats itself, Togedemaru will probably turn out to be not that amazing in battle. Still, I like how, ever since gen 5, the Pikaclones have dual typing to further separate themselves from the other clones and the real thing.
Those are my thoughts on the newly revealed Pokemons. Which is your favorite?
