Did anyone else think they were already a couple before they official time they got together in Deathly Hallows?

I'd always believed that they were a couple sa pamamagitan ng the end of The Halfblood Prince.
1. During Dumbledore's funeral, Ron is holding Hermione and comforting her. Yes, that could have been a mga kaibigan moment instead of a pairing one, but both Harry and Ginny and Lupin and Tonks - 2 canon pairings sa pamamagitan ng that time - are described similarly.
2. In Grimmauld's Place they fall asleep holding hands. Another couple gesture.
3. The way Hermione reacts when Ron leaves reads, to me anyway, like it was her boyfriend who'd left and not just a friend she was in pag-ibig with. The way he sees her staying with Harry instead of leaving with him as choosing Harry over him reads the same way.

Am I alone in this? I was surprised when I read fans here saying that the couple only got together after they halik during the Battle of Hogwarts. I actually thought that was just their first on-screen halik and possibly not their first kiss.
