In a kamakailan interview with the Boston Globe, Scotty McCreery reveals that there is "technically going to be one cover" that makes its way onto his debut album, Clear As Day, which is set to be released in October.
Scotty was kind enough to share that one already popular country bituin may be playing gitara on a track:
"It’s going to be all originals. There’s technically going to be one cover. Keith Urban pitched a song my way, and it’s one he did way back when he was part of the band called the Ranch. He’s on tour right now so we don’t know, but he sinabi he might play gitara on the track."
Some of you may have noticed Scotty's unique way of holding a microphone during the early rounds of the 'American Idol' competition, this is what he has to say about it:
"I don’t know what the heck that was. I think it’s just because I’m used to pitching, and that’s how I hold the ball in the glab with the limp wrist in the glove. I never held a mike before “American Idol.’’ I just had my mike stand with my guitar. So I think it naturally happened like that and then naturally changed back to normal to where I didn’t look like a fool."
The 17 taon old was also asked whether he found it "beneficial" to be dealing with everything post-"Idol" with someone who shared the same experience (Lauren Alaina):
"It’s got its pros and its cons. We’re both country and we’re both doing this together, so it’s a cool little thing. But we both want to be looked at as individual artists, and we talked to our managers about not making us look like the susunod Conway [Twitty] and Loretta [Lynn]. But it is fun to get to do this together, so it’s all good."
What to expect with Clear As Day:
"It’s not going to be poppy. That’s one thing we stayed away from. I grew up with the old-school stuff, so I didn’t want to completely stray from that. We’ve got the rocker songs, the uptempo stuff. But when we slow it down, the songs get madami intimate, and you can definitely hear some of the madami classic elements."

Sometime susunod buwan the official nominated listahan should be released, but Scotty McCreery is one of the many incredible artists/groups battling it out this taon to be nominated.
Unfortunately, this is not a fan-voted process, so we can only keep our fingers crossed and our hopes high! I'm sure that everyone, friends, family, and fans alike would be speechless if Scotty were to win a Grammy...but out of the thousands who auditioned for 'American Idol', a 17 taon old from Garner, NC came out victorious...who's to say he can't win a Grammy too!?
