One night, I stood outside Noah's house in a black and white suit. We were going on our first date, and I was really nervous. I'd practically had a nervous breakdown in the car, sweating like a pig and desperately trying to keep my car spotless and perfect for Noah.
Noah's door opened, startling me. He stood there, and I silently gasped. He was breathtaking in a red and white tuxedo, and his tsokolate brown eyes were locked on mine. The obvious pag-ibig in his eyes made him blush and look away.
"Hey,"he sinabi smiling at me.
"Hey sexy," I joked.
"Oh haha." I felt him hold my hand, and I blushed too. We walked out to my car, and I couldn't believe that Noah. Was. Sitting. In. My. Car.
"Where are we going?" he asked.
"A restaurant," I said, and leaned across the car to halik him. Our lips were a centimeter apart when Noah accidentally pressed on the horn. We screamed and pulled back.
"Sorry, sorry," he apologized, and buckled his seatbelt.
"It's okay," I told him, and pulled out of the parking lot.
At the restaurant, I walked around to Noah's side of the car and opened the door for him. He smiled at me and got out.
"It's beautiful here," he commented, wrapping an arm around me. "So, how long have you been in pag-ibig with me?"
"Since I first laid eyes on you," I informed.
"Ah. And is that why you decided to ask me out?" He smiled up at me.
"Figured you should do something other than read books," I said.
"Oh, you did NOT just go there, tech-geek," he laughed, playfully pushing me.
"Watch yourself."
We walked in the restaurant then, and followed the waitress to a booth. He sat down beside me, and I put my head on his shoulder. He stroked my hair, twisting it in his fingers, and I swear I heard him say, "I pag-ibig you, Cody."
Two hours later, I pulled up at his house. We got out of the car and I walked up to his house.
"I had a great time tonight," Noah told me, smiling.
"I did, too," I agreed.
"See you in class tomorrow," he said, wrapping his arms around my neck and pulling me into a long, slow kiss.
"Don't stay up pagbaba TOO late, or you'll fall asleep in class," I teased, pulling back.
"Shut up." He gave me another quick halik and went inside.
