I don't want Jim and Pam to leave Scranton, but it makes the most sense. Pam is wanting to attend school in NYC, Jim is wanting to have a job that will impress the Beeslys...it's a win-win. Although I'd most like Andy to take it and get the hell away from Angela.

There are many reasons for each of the characters:
1) Jim- since Pam is leaving for New York; Wants to impress Pam's family with a a great job; Jim hating his samll job since the beginning
2) Andy- most likely Angela is going to confess and reject his proposal later in the episodes, so Andy may want to run away from Scranton due to his disappointment
3) Michael- he wanted this job from the start; but may not as we wants to stay close with the new girl (forgot her name)
4) Jan- most qualified; she has recouped ever since she was fired
5) Karen- wants to impress Jim; wants to boss Pam around
6) Dwight- loves power ever since the days as "assistant- regional manager" to back stabbing Michael; has a lot of changes for Dunder-Mifflin in mind

I totally agree with Chel. This would be the best for Jam, if Pam wants to work as an artist someday she would never be able to do that in Scranton.

Well, Rashida Jones's new show Unhitched was just cancelled by Fox. So she will need a new job. An Office return is entirely possable.

It would be a great way for to get her back on the show. The timing would be be perfect, too with Pam on her way to New York.

I would love her back! Since JAM are going so well I think a little stirring up would be good for them lol. How mean am I?? But Branch Wars was the funniest episode of the season! Karen being Jim's boss would be soooo hilarious!

i seriously hope jan gets her job back. from a comedy standpoint, it is necessary.

I know that the whole idea of Jim and Pam being happy in NY together seems to sound good but the truth is (please no one try and stone me) but I would rather Jim and Pam not stay a couple then for both of them to leave the office in Scranton. That's when the show will stray WAY too far from the comedic side as an attempt to keep them together. I love the JAM thing as much as the next guy, really, but beaulingpin is right. We need to get someone in there that will help the comedic aspect of the show, not just the JAM thing.
