Episode 16: Who's The Boss?
One of the engines on the Mossberg Narrow Gauge Railway likes to be bossy. Her name is Kaela, and she is the number 2 engine on her railway.
Kaela: *Resting in shed*
Natalia: *Backs into the sheds susunod to Kaela. As she stops, she blows a lot of smoke*
Kaela: Do you have to do that constantly?
Natalia: No senorita, I guess not.
Kaela: And don't call me senorita. No one else on this railway does.
Natalia: No one else on this railway is Spanish. I think I'll go help Dustin in the yards. *Puffs away*
Kaela: *Smells smoke from Natalia* What an awful odor.
Later, Kaela had to pull two passenger coaches to the harbor. She was going to pick up passengers, and bring them to the station on tuktok of the hill. When she got to the yards, she saw Casey Jones backing up to three coaches.
Kaela: No no no no. You're strong enough for five coaches.
Casey Jones: But Mr. Swanson said-
Kaela: Mr. Swanson is wrong. You can pull five coaches.
Casey Jones: Alright. *Backs up to three coaches, then backs her train up to two madami coaches* If I'm pulling five, why are you only pulling two?
Kaela: Hey, you got a good point there. I'll double up my train. *Backs her train up to two extra coaches*
Casey Jones: Alright. See you later Kaela. *Pulls her train*
Kaela: *Leaves the yards with her train*
Dustin was in another part of the yards shunting freight cars with Natalia. Neither of them realized that they took extra coaches, leaving only one for Makenzie.
Makenzie: *Enters yard* Now how am I supposed to pull a train with only one coach?
As Casey Jones went to the station on the hill, Kaela went to the docks. Along the way, she was susunod to Amy. The two engines were going parallel to each other. Amy was pulling six boxcars.
Amy: Hi Kaela.
Kaela: Hello. What are you pulling?
Amy: Empty freight cars. I'm taking them to the docks to be loaded up with pinball machines for an arcade.
Kaela: Sounds like fun. I'm to take passengers to the station on the hill.
Amy: Good luck.
Kaela: *Goes faster then Amy*
A few minutos later Kaela arrived at the Mossberg Harbor. She left her coaches at the station, and went to a paikutan to turn around.
Sean: *Slowly entering harbor, and passes Kaela on the turntable* Hi Kaela.
Kaela: *Stays silent as she turns around*
Sean: I sinabi hi.
Kaela: Go away.
Sean: Pardon me?
Kaela: I am busy, and I don't need some oversized train bothering me.
Sean: I'm not oversized, I'm standard gauge.
Kaela: Just get away from me. Please?
Sean: I didn't do anything to you, but whatever. *Goes away* What's her problem?
Kaela: *Waits for paikutan to stop, then goes off* Now to finish my job.
sa pamamagitan ng the time she coupled up to her train, passengers were on board. The first thing Kaela had to do was get her train off the island, and into Santa Cruz. That way, she could turn herself around to pull her train to the station on the hill.
Kaela: There needs to be a track that can get me from here to that station on the burol without having to turn around in Santa Cruz.
Conductor: All aboard!
Kaela: *Blows her whistle twice, and tries to pull her train. Her wheels slip for five seconds, then she moves her train*
Meanwhile, Dustin, and Makenzie were talking to Mr. Swanson about Kaela making herself, and Casey Jones take extra passenger cars.
Mr. Swanson: And they didn't leave any for you.
Makenzie: No sir, they didn't.
Dustin: I didn't realize until the last second.
Mr. Swanson: That's alright. What we need to do is get Casey Jones, and Kaela to give two of their coaches to Makenzie so she can pull her train. You two look for Kaela, I'll find Casey Jones.
Kaela reached Santa Cruz. The boardwalk was full of passengers. Kaela got on the turntable, and turned herself around for the return journey back into the Island of Errol.
Kaela: *Blows her whistle twice, and slips. She has trouble moving her heavy train as her wheels slip again. As they slip for the third time, they go really fast, and then she starts to ilipat her train* Wait a minute. I made Casey Jones take extra coaches. I hope she's not struggling like I am.
Unfortunately, she was. Casey Jones couldn't pull her train out of the station as her wheels kept slipping. They spun for ten segundos non stop, and Casey Jones got too tired.
Kaela was going up the burol to the station Casey Jones was at.
Kaela: I got to get to Casey Jones. *Her wheels slip, and she slowly starts to ilipat downhill* No! *Pulls harder, but her wheels slip faster* I gotta reach the station.
Dustin & Makenzie: *Arrive in front of Kaela*
Dustin: You're in a lot of trouble.
Kaela: I know. Can we talk about that later? I need help getting up this hill.
Makenzie: Okay. Let's pull her up.
When they got to the station, Casey Jones was seen leaving the station with three of her coaches. The other two were left at the station for Makenzie. While she was getting two coaches from Kaela's train to her own, Mr. Swanson was talking to Kaela inside one of the passenger cars.
Mr. Swanson: Thanks to you, there has been a lot of delay. I cannot allow you to force yourself, as well as others to pull extra coaches while not leaving any for the others. You're not the boss of this railway. I am.
Kaela: You're absolutely right, and I apologize.
Mr. Swanson: Good. I forgive you. Now Makenzie is going to give me a ride to the boardwalk in Santa Cruz. You all have fun.
Makenzie: *Pulls her train*
Kaela: Well, that wasn't so bad.
Dustin: You just need to stop bossing others around.
Kaela: I already have.

Episode 17: The Unexpected
Makenzie, and Amy were talking about getting repainted.
Makenzie: I wanna be painted red. The same type of red that my eyeliner is. I think I would look beautiful. What color do you wanna be?
Amy: Well I always had an interest in turquoise. I'd like to be that color. Maybe, turquoise with pink, and a little bit of black.
Makenzie: Let's go tell Mr. Swanson.
The two engines got really excited as they went to go tell Mr. Swanson about wanting to be repainted. At the roundhouse, Mr. Swanson was letting Tillie, and Georgia rest after both of them tried to break a record.
Mr. Swanson: I believe you ladies did very well. The fastest narrow gauge doubleheader speed is now being held sa pamamagitan ng you, and it is sixty miles an hour.
Georgia: I didn't even know we could go that fast.
Tillie: It was tough, but a lot of fun.
Makenzie: *Arrives with Amy* Hey. What happened to you two?
Tillie: We just made a new record.
Georgia: Thanks to us, the fastest speed a double headed narrow gauge train has ever gone is sixty miles an hour.
Amy: I didn't even know there was a record for that.
Tillie: Well there was, and we beat it.
Makenzie: What was it before you broke it?
Georgia: Fifty eight.
Amy: Man, oh man. I had no clue narrow gauge trains could go that fast.
Mr. Swanson: What is it that you, and Makenzie wanted?
Amy: We were wondering if we could be repainted.
Mr. Swanson: Sure. Head to the works, and go get painted.
Makenzie: This is gonna be so fun.
Amy: I know. *Goes with Makenzie to the works*
The works is a place where engines go to be serviced. As Amy, and Makenzie entered, they saw Hatti who popped a cylinder from pulling a heavy load.
Makenzie: Hi Hatti.
Hatti: *Sighs* Hi.
Workers: *Arrive* Hello girls. What can we do for you?
Makenzie: Me, and Amy want to be repainted.
Worker: Sure. We have two available paint booths right in front of you. What mga kulay would you like to be?
Makenzie: Red.
Worker: Just a single shade of red, or two toned?
Makenzie: Two toned? What does that mean?
Worker: You have two shades of red painted on you.
Makenzie: I'd like to try that.
Amy: And I would like to be painted in Turquoise, Pink, and Black.
Worker: We'll see what we can do. You may enter the paint booths now.
They slowly rolled into the paint booths parallel to each other.
Makenzie: This is going to be great.
Amy: I am looking pasulong to this.
Makenzie: *Gets repainted into red* Hey, we're off to a good start so far.
Amy: *Gets repainted black* Oookay, I wanted to go for Turquoise first, but whatever.
Two hours later.
Makenzie: *Backs out of the works*
Workers: *Put a mirror in front of Makenzie*
Makenzie: Hey. I like the way I look.
Amy: *Slowly backs out of the works* i don't think any part of me got painted in pink, or turquoise.
Makenzie: Amy you look great.
Amy: Really?
Makenzie: Yeah. What happened to the turquoise, and pink?
Amy: They forgot it. But do I really look good?
Makenzie: Yeah.
Amy: *Sees herself in a mirror* Yeah. I do look good. Though it was unexpected, I look great.
Makenzie: You know what they say, always expect, the unexpected.
Amy: That's true. *Laughs*
Workers: That was a little funny. *Laugh*
