Do you think that writers should be avid readers?

Not neccessarily, I think it depends on the person.

That's how I became a writer:
Studying my paborito authors' works and meshing their Pagsulat styles together to create my own. Not everyone works that way, though.

They don't HAVE to be. If pagbaba helps you come up with techniques or ideas, then sure. But some get techniques and ideas from their own mind.

Yes. You constantly gain ideas.

It depends on the person. But I think it helps learn new words and better grammer. It also inspires ideas if your careful not to steal. But no, they don't have to be.

I think it helps. I personally am an avid reader and I think it helps with my writing. But I don't think in order to be a writer you must be a reader.

In general it depends on the person but sometimes they are interchangeable. personally i was a bigger writer than reader for a long time in a matter fact it wasn't till the last taon and a half or so that i actually began pagbaba committedly i've read madami than ever believed possible for me i read Dracula, the invisible man, the legend of sleepy hollow, A series of unfortunate events the austere academy and panangga sa bintana island in the last 3 months. That may not sound big to a lot of you but it was huge for me. Ordinarily something thick like Dracula would take me a buwan but it took me just a few weeks.
pagbaba does help at times and is great to help you look at other Pagsulat styles. and can give you inspiration as well i got an idea from the invisible man that i thought was a good idea

Yes, I think it's necessary. I haven't met or even heard of a writer that doesn't read anyway.
