Pagsulat Tanong

A little help please???

I'm doing a series, five-book hopefully, called the "Seasons" series. Each book is focused on a certain season and the main characters of each book change depending on which season each story takes place in. It starts with the winter season and I'm halfway through Pagsulat that, but then the problem came.

The main characters in my first book are Jack and Jacqueline Frost(No it isn't a fanfiction). Since they are based off a popular winter myth, I was thinking that I should do the same for the rest of the books but after quite some searching, I only found bands and product brands when I searched for seasonal spirits(=.=;). So I was wondering if any of my fellow writers knew about any spring, summer and autumn spirits. If you do, can you please let me know? Thanks in advance.

I'm actually doing a story that has seasons heavily influence the characters. I chose to go the route of giving my main characters their season names. So one has the last name Winter, one has the last name Summer, etc. For their other names, I either chose a normal name or something related to their corresponding season, which wasn't necessarily spiritual names. Anyway, Persephone is a Greek goddess who's connected to Spring and Winter. She was kidnapped from her mother sa pamamagitan ng Hades (god of the underworld). When she was taken, the earth Nawawala it's greenery, thus turning into winter. Eventually Hades struck a deal to allow Persephone back on earth, which awoken spring. So, every taon Persephone must return to her husband, Hades, and every taon the earth goes through winter. Persephone is often associated with a fruit, usually a pomegranate. Autumn was a character I had trouble with. It's important to note how you want the character's name to reflect their personality. Autumn, when I looked it up, is related to the harvest and reaping. Thus, Autumn can take on darker kind of name (which was really good for my character because before I chose her name, I started Pagsulat her into gloomy situations. So, her name fit). Also, Halloween is in Autumn. Samhain is a "spirit" of Halloween. He rises from the sa ilalim ng daigdig and collects Nawawala souls. The faces on the jack-o-lanterns deflect him. So, maybe your characters could be Sam Hain. But, there is also the bright mga kulay of Fall. A character's name could reflect kahel or brown or red. For summer, I'd look toward sun gods. Apollo is a Roman god, I think. He has a twin sister who is goddess of the moon. They're my paborito gods. Here's a listahan of other link I think I like Sol because that's something you can see throughout many languages, such as in the word SOLar. As for spring, think reawakening. Flowers, trees, and mga hayop coming out of hibernation. Here's a nice listahan of link
I'm glad I looked some of this up, I might have to refer to some of this for my own writing. Also, remember that Greek and Roman gods might be the most popular. If you really like one name, but it's being used sa pamamagitan ng something else, I suggest you change it up. A lot of the names for gods are related since their languages stemmed from a similar language. It doesn't have to be exact. As long as your names reflect how you want them to, which seems to be their season affluence.
Good luck with your story! Happy writing!

Actually all the names im using are fancy made-up names. So far, only Jack and Jaqueline have considerably normal names. And actually in the series all main characters are kinda like demigods as they are all children of each seasons god or goddess. but its a pantasiya world so...

you could always make some names up if you arent opposed to a little bit of a pantasiya element.
