Mimi watched carefully at the relationship between Anna and Faithie. Anna seemed wanting to distance herself and Gracie away from Little Faithie (Faithie liked to be called that), but Gracie kept saying,"Let Faithie play, Anna. She's not hurting anyone." Anna looked at Gracie sternly and said,"Well you don't have to deal with her everyday! You have a really keen cousin to play with, but I have this little girl that acts like a parasite!" Mimi furrowed her eyebrows in anger and said,"Anna, remember what I told you? Play nice or don't play at all!" Anna gave me the meanest little smirk and replied,"You know you can get arrested dressed up as a little jezebel, right?" Faithie looked up at her and said,"Anna, that's only if you're at the tabing-dagat or at the pool! Mama sinabi that if you're at home, the policemen won't care about what you look like. My sissy has a small palda swimsuit and Mama don't care about it." Anna looked at her angrily and said,"You're Mama is clueless and the ignorance in your family doesn't fall far from the tree!" Faithie ran off somewhere crying, as Gracie ran towards her. Mimi looked at Anna and said,"What is you're problem? One minuto you're sweet and kind, and then the susunod you're rude and bossy. I don't care what you're like at home, but here, you play nice. If you keep pagganap like that, you go tahanan and I'll tell my aunt that you're pagganap up and she'll call you're mom right away!" Anna walked away. Mimi's head started to hurt. She had never felt this angry at another kid younger than her before. She had dealt with little brats before, but all of them seemed angelic compared to that little demon! Mimi walked into the house and walked down the hall towards the right. She walked to her aunt's Pagsulat office and knocked on the door. She went in and said,"Aunt Lilian, I have a major headache right now." "Why? Too much sun?" "No not that. It's that little Anna girl. She's so mean. She sinabi that she was going to call the cops on me for my swimsuit, called Faithie and her family ignorant, and stomped off." "Where's Gracie? Did she hurt her?" "No, in fact she's using Gracie as a shield to get away from Faithie. Anna drags Gracie everywhere, sticks to me and tries to ward off Faithie. Gracie's still out there, cheering up Faithie." "Don't worry. I'll get you some Tylenol. You just go outside and get Gracie. I'm going to fix lunch in a minuto and you girls can go back out there when it's cooled down. Sound good to you?" "Fine! Just fine with me!" Mimi took some Tylenol and went outside to get Gracie. Gracie was still in silence sa pamamagitan ng herself. Mimi looked at her and asked,"You okay?" Gracie looked up at her and said,"Faithie disappeared. She vanished into thin air....like a ghost or something." Mimi looked at her oddly and replied and assured her,"Maybe you've had too much sun today. C'mon, you're mom's making some lunch for us. Macaroni n'cheese! You're favorite!" Gracie looked like she had been traumatized. She dragged her feet a little, as Mimi grabbed her sa pamamagitan ng the hand and took her in.
Mimi and Lilian were enjoying their lunch, unlike Gracie who picked at hers. Lilian looked at her and asked,"Honey, are you okay? You look like something jumped out of the bushes and scared you to death." "More like vanished into thin air," Gracie mumbled to herself. Lilian looked at her and said,"What did you say?" "Um, I said, uh..uh..- " "That she just saw Faithie jump into the water and she didn't pop back up. She's fine, she's just that good at swimming. That kinda freaked Gracie out, but Faithie's fine, right?" Mimi sinabi finishing up Gracie's sentence. "Right. It was cool, but freaky. Kinda freaked me out there." Lilian just kept eating and replied,"Well, I'm pretty sure that little girl's okay. I know how you're not the best swimmer and that the water scares you a little. Maybe Faithie can teach you." "Mom, she's like six years old. A six taon old teaching an eight taon old how to swim? That's like social suicide!" Lilian and Mimi giggled as Mimi asked,"Did you get that from Mean Girls?" "Yeah, I don't like that Regina girl much, but if I were her, I would just stick with Anna and avoid her." Lilian looked at her and said,"That's not a very nice thing to do. What if Faithie is alone all the time and needs a friend and a better influence than Anna?" "Look Mom, Faithie has an older sister. I have an older cousin. It's not like I'm brushing up against Anna all the time begging to her asking her if she can play with me. Faithie's six, so she maybe cute, but....annoying. She always seems needy and helpless. I wasn't like that when I was her age." Lilian chuckled and said,"Oh really? You weren't annoying when you were six? Gracie, I can recall you begging our older susunod door neighbor to play with you all the time." "That's different. She actually played with me. She was an only child." "You are too! Look, no matter how annoying this little girl is, don't be mean to her. I didn't raise you to be mean, okay? I don't know what Anna's mom teaches her, but you're MY kid and you're nice to others. Okay?" "Okay."
As it got darker, the girls went back outside. They went into the water as Gracie said,"Ahhh! It's too cold!" Mimi looked at her and said,"I know, but at least we aren't hot and sweaty. If only the water was like this during the day." The girls were soon adjusted to the water, as they laughed and played. They soon saw Anna and Faithie in the water too. They swam a little closer to them as Anna said,"I wanna play a game, Faithie. It's called "The Dunk n' Swim." Wanna play?" "I don't know Anna. Is it scary?" "No, in fact you won't remember a thing." Anna put her hand on Faithie's head, dunking her under with force. Mimi was screaming,"No!!! Anna let go of her!!! Stop!!! But when Mimi went over there, they were both gone. They both went under water. Mimi went under, opening her eyes under the murky lake water, trying to find the girls. She popped back up and went over to Gracie. She grabbed Gracie and went inside of the house. They ran upstairs, soaking wet, trying to dry each other with tabing-dagat towels. Mimi looked at her and said,"I'm sorry you saw that Gracie. I don't know what happened. I can't comprehend or piece it together. We may had too much water in our eyes. We won't tell Aunt Lilian. It looked a little hazy, right? Right?" "Yeah, hazy. Kinda blurry." "Yeah, blurry. We'll watch a movie. Not a scary one. After that, we'll go to kama and play with the girls tomorrow, okay?" "It's all behind us?" "Yeah. Let's dry off, shower, get into our pajamas, go downstairs, pop some papkorn and watch a funny movie. Sound good to you?" "Yeah. I was so scared and I still am!" "Shh, it's okay. It's okay. It was probably the water. Sometimes, cold, dirty, murky water makes people see funny or scary things.I may have swallowed a little and it messed with my head." "I may have too. Let's shower, I'm freezing and scared!"
The girls watched a movie and relaxed. They actually started to forget what they saw that evening. If only Mimi had remembered her Great Gram's story and thought long and hard enough about it...

I wrote this is five minutes. Not that good, I know.
It's in the point of view of a fire.
It's in a fireplace in a living room.
Hope you enjoy.
Read to the rhythym you would
'The Night Before Christmas'
I flickered and jumped
and sat on the logs
and watched as the human
kicked off his clogs.
The dog soon followed
and sat sa pamamagitan ng his side
and they soon were asleep
and my flame soon died.
But a flicker did linger
and I wondered a bit.
When would be the susunod time
that I would be lit?

I am bored with love
and it's passionless limbs
that drape over my bed
in a lethargic state of impotence
while wearing the same red heart
my soul picked up hitchhiking
off highway serendipity
Now here we are
alone in togetherness
trying to build dreams
with two sa pamamagitan ng fours and glue,
but even a home
won't tie us together
when our hearts live alone
Poetic vows cliched
into nothingness
like all words do, eventually
and we allowed our bodies to become another pair of hollow shadows that make pag-ibig to a wall
instead of each other
and we wonder why
the mga rosas are dying
and it's passionless limbs

poem 1:the world
the sun shines bright
there's day,and there's night
both are beautiful sights
this is the world
Winter,spring,summer,and fall
is a magical season
so there is no reason
for you to hate
seasons so great
we are all one
we need the sun
we need the air
we all care
about the world
poem 2:love
there is something above
we cant see it
we cant bee it
but we all know what it is
it is love
pag-ibig is what we need
to live,to breath
to be what we can be
we all need love
pag-ibig is power
pag-ibig is strong.
thats why pag-ibig songs
are so very strong
Poem 3:run (this one isnt all that good)
in the sun
is where i run
away from here
ill not be near
Something that will kill me
something that can be
so deadly and strong
and can kill me with a song
thats why i run
in the sun
i still remember you hum.
im sorry i must run.

I remember the times of the i pag-ibig you's
and times when it was i hate you.
But you come back begging at me feet.
And when my pity defeated me.
and the sweet seranades, in our matching shades.
My rose collection, evidence of your effection.
The sheets unmade, from the nights you stayed.
The child in me, from the times you loved me.
The debt you owe, from using the word borrow.
The times i was scared, was the time you spared.
And this dress i wear, in which are people become aware, that you are gone, and withdrawn.
The memories i hold, they are written in bold.
my broken heart, from when you apart.
so rest now my love, up now from above.
and times when it was i hate you.
