CHAPTER SEVEN:
I return to my apartment, and turn off the police radio, which is only reporting the incident I was involved with earlier that night. I suddenly feel tired once again, and this shocks me. As I lay back on the couch, I continue thinking of Pike, and my first night of being a vampire.
CRYSTAL FALLS: 1850
I hesitate, and then follow Perry outside. Only moments ago, I found myself full of anger, yet at the same time, worry, although not for my own sake, but for my father’s, who is still asleep in the other room. For some odd reason, I am in pain, not from my wound, which has disappeared over the course of my coma, but from my stomach. I realize this is no time to think about food, and follow Perry into the woods. The sky is dark, but daylight is close. I know this because the horizon has a few rays of light reflecting over it. I struggle to keep up with Perry as he leads me to a cave far from the town I live in. Perry sits down on a rock and waits for me to catch up. Once I do, he eyes me as if he’s examining me. “It hurts doesn’t it?” He asks, nodding his head. “It always does.” I feel immense anger towards him. “You… What did you do to me?” I ask. Perry smiles. “I told you I’d give you your birthday gift later than usual didn’t I?” When I don’t respond, he continues. “Look. I know this is hard to believe, Ashley, but you’re a vampire now.” He says. I know what a vampire is of course, despite the typical paglalarawan of women back then, I was able to read and write, thanks to my father, who was against that particular stereotype. As such, I read Bram Stoker’s “Dracula” novel, but there was no such thing, there couldn’t be, yet at the same time, it was making sense, my wound healing instantly, the bite marks in the neck, the bodies being drained of blood. I found myself believing him. Perry notes the expression of horror on my face and nods. “That pain won’t go away until you eat, or feed, for want of a better word.” I stare horrorstruck and note that he is serious. He smiles at me, and bites into his wrist. Black blood drips from his arm, and I am overcome with a strange sensation. I know I NEED that blood, but at the same time, I realize how sick that is, and know I’ll be just as sick as him if I give in. I fight as hard as I can against the sensation, long enough for the wound to heal on Perry’s arm. Perry sighs. “You know Ash, giving in only makes it worse. You’ve got to drink soon, or people WILL get hurt. I won’t force you to drink it, but I know you will. The sensation you’re feeling, it will just get worse. It’ll…” he starts before I interrupt him. “You sick freak! Do you even realize how sick and horrible you sound right now? And don’t look sympathetic! YOU did this to me! Why?” I yell. I note the look of sympathy fade into a grin. “Because I can.” He says smugly. I get up to lunge at him, but something stops me. “You’re smarter than the others aren’t you Ash? Special. The others didn’t fight bloodlust, they all got out of control, and well, you saw what happened to that guy last week. Something was always different Ash, I sensed it, and you’ve just proved it sa pamamagitan ng resisting, but I do stick to my warning Ashley, you can’t resist forever. It’ll get out of hand. And I for one don’t want that to happen.” I look at him. He has ruined my life, I realize. “I can resist. I’ll prove you wrong.” I reply. Perry shrugs. “Suit yourself. But you’ll come back here and beg me for my help soon. Don’t worry, I’ll wait.” He says with a grin. I turn and walk out of the cave. sa pamamagitan ng now the sun is coming over the horizon. It burns my skin. I shriek in horror, and run all the way back to my father’s clinic. I pato inside, then… I smell it. I can feel it, pumping through his veins. I walk out to the foyer. “Dad…” I say weakly. He immediately awakens from his slumber. “Ashley! You’re awake!” he says, fighting back tears. “Perry sinabi you likely wouldn’t…” “Dad… What did he say happened?” I beg. “Ashley, your mother didn’t make it… I thought, I really thought that I’d Nawawala you too.” Tears fill his eyes. “I owe Perry everything, he saved your life.” He says hugging me. The sensation comes over me once more. I can smell the blood coursing through his veins, not just smell it… CRAVE it… I force his grip loose. “Dad, I’m sorry…” I stutter. He looks at me clearly confused. “Sorry for what?” he asks. “What I am about to do. I pag-ibig you dad, and I’m only doing this because of that reason.” Before he can say anything, I turn and run out the door. The sun’s rays burn my skin as I make my way through town. I feel the urge again, the craving, as I run sa pamamagitan ng people on the streets. The craving is overwhelming, stronger than ever. I realize I have no choice anymore. I NEED it. Without thinking, I turn and enter the woods, and eventually I come to the cave from earlier. At least I hope it is the same cave. I hope this against hope. I enter and see Perry sitting on the same rock from earlier. He turns to me with a grin on his face. “The sun really hurts doesn’t it?” he responds. “You psychopathic piece of crap!” I stutter, feeling literally like I am dying. The sun has somehow exhausted me, I feel as if my insides are on fire, and I still can’t fight the cravings anymore. Perry bites down on his wrist, and this time I can’t fight the sensation, I feel like if I do, I’ll die. I race over and am horrified to find my teeth have gotten longer, I try one last time to fight it, but end up sinking my teeth into Perry’s wound. I hear him laugh as I drink the blood. I no longer feel anything, not nauseated or sick about what I am doing, to my horror it feels… natural. Perry smiles at me once I’ve finished, and I collapse onto the floor. “I’ve got a proposition for you now Ash.” He says smiling.

With this new story, I wanna write a horror story.
It's called Imaginary:
Sierra, a young six taon old from Ocean Gate, New Jersey, dies from a car accident and a broken skull. Meanwhile, Molly, from Bayville, gets a new friend. Her name is Sierra.
As Molly's parents notice their daughter pagganap strange, they start to worry. She always asks to set the mesa for an extra person, and she always talks to herself in her room.
Sierra is being fueled sa pamamagitan ng something that's in their house, and she's feeding supernaturally off of Molly's body, and strange things start to happen in the house.
Anonymous laughing, horrifying screams, eerie whispering, problems with the power, and worse. Molly gets weaker.
On this supernatural journey, Molly's parents will try to fight something that's beyond them, whatever it takes to save their daughter's life.
In loving memory of Sierra, a childhood friend. I still miss you, and I know your brother does, too!
