Why do guys hate girls who like yaoi but they think its okay to like yuri,(girls and girls)?

I am a guy and I like yaoi and yuri. I don't hate people for liking either or. I think it's pointless and immature. People will like what they like and I personally do not have a problem with them liking it. Hell I am in this club and I subscribed to it. Some guys are assholes and some are not. Some girls are assholes and some are not. Not every guy does that. I certainly do not do what you are suggesting guys do in your question.

I am not like most guys. I have a strong passion for yaoi and I don't care at all about yuri. So I can't answer that, sorry. :(

It's a double standard. They think they're better than us. It's as simple as that.

im a boy, but to some people me being gay would be an excuse, but i agree it seems like boys pag-ibig yuri but hates girls liking yaoi, i think its because some boys dont like to be thought of as a couple or in that kind of Relationship and some girls are the same with yuri.

Because they wouldn't do it(yaoi).It is human nature to be hypocritcal,and this is hypocritcal.See,it is also human nature to be biased.Just as many girls probably dislike yuri as boys do yaoi.It all depends on who you are,and sometimes your sexual orientation.

Well, not all guys hates yaoi. I have many guy mga kaibigan on tumblr who like yaoi as much as most of the girls do. The reason why 'guys hates yaoi fangirls' is because either they're offend to see yaoi or find the girl is disturbingly obnoxious or weird because of the unusual habit(experience, not saying all yaoi fangirls are. Just some of the people i met on DeviantArt group). And the 'but likes yuri' is because they think it's hot to see two girls "doin' shit" with each other(Once more, NOT ALL. But, i actually find that attractive). But hey, same thing goes with 'girls hate boys who like yuri'. Let's just say it was just one of the silly human natures C;

Girls are madami understanding. Because of our pag-ibig of yaoi, we can tolerate yuri even if we don't like it. But for the stereotypical strait guy, its just gross. Add spastic fangirls who rave over sinabi thing that grosses them out and its as bad as the plague. Personally I've found most male yaoi haters to be madami haters of the insane fangirls than the yaoi itself. ^_^ but that dosen't stop me! lol

this seems to run in with the whole guys watching porn and yuri, perfectly normal, but in most cases in life society sees it as a bad thing for girls to like porn or yaoi or stuff like that. i totally disagree with logic and think it's stupid but uy maybe years from now it'll be madami normal than seen as weird. ...and for the record i am a yaoi fangirl but that doesn't mean i think of every guy like that, i just enjoy the read and watching of yaoi manga and anime. :)

well wouldn't it be kinda weird for a guy to be watching to other guys make out and have sex. And they think that it is ok to watch yuri because it is to girls doing that stuff rather that two boys doing it

I mean, i felt really pissed when fanboys started bashing Akise (from mirai nikki) just because he pecked Yukki on the lips for like, a second, but nobody complained about the yuri, scene i mean, Mao and Hinata were naked...nobody bashed that...
I mean i would NEVER bash yuri because if i did i would be a hypocrite, not even if it took over the fanbase.

This is a difficult tanong because not all guys hate yaoi or girls who like it. Just like not all girls hate Yuri. But the reason I'm not a big tagahanga of typical "Yaoi" or "Yuri" is because both genres don't depict actual gay/lesbian relationships. I think strait men don't like yaoi because they either don't get off on it, or don't want to. Typical yaoi and Yuri are just stereotypes pushed tapis people. As a gay male, I can honestly say that the person on bottom doesn't act anything like typical "ukes". Same goes for semes. Real gay men are feminine or masculine on their own,and it doesn't rely on whether or not they give or take. Yaoi and Yuri are sometimes realistic,but they aren't labeled as such because "It's not as hot".

Guys are morons. They don't wanna se two guys getting it on because;
1. There's no overflowing vaginas.
2. There are no canon-ball sized breast.

In yuri however, both these things ipakita up AND there're no cocks in th epicture (unless the girls use strap on, or dildos or something).
