Robin looked outside for Becca, but she wasn't in sight.
“Becca!”
He waited a minuto before he heard a muffled reply.
“Up here, Robin.”
Using his grappling hook, Robin made his way up to a ledge just above the cave entrance. Becca was sitting with her back against the rocks and her legs bent. Robin sat beside her and took her hand.
“Why'd you run out? Are you okay?”
“I'm fine. I just...thought of something I didn't like.”
“What was it?”
“Nothing important.”
“Well, if you aren't going to tell me, I have another question. Why don't you like Cassie?”
“Ugh! Cassie!”
“You don't even know her. How can you not like her?”
Becca chewed on the inside of her cheek. She stood up and paced a little before sitting back down.
“I can see into the future.”
“You can WHAT?”
“I know. I should have told you. But I can't control when and what I see. For instance, I can't see if you and I will end up married someday. Believe me, I tried. But I can see clips from another persons future and I never know when it happens.”
“What does this have to do with Cassie?”
Becca picked up a rock and threw it over the edge.
“Remember when we were kids and my sister would push me emotionally away from you when we were playing something?”
“Yeah.”
“Well, Cassie is going to push Megan away from Connor. And something bad will happen.”
“How bad?” Robin asked.
“Just enough to drive Megan insane with jealousy!”
“Can we stop it?”
“No. We can't. But if Megan fights, maybe she can.”
“Megan will change her future?”
“Not will. But might be able to. It all depends on her afection for Connor. And how much she tanong her intentions.”

"Sir, the cloning failed. And now the girl is fully trusted sa pamamagitan ng the others. There is no possible way to-"
"That is false. The girl is mine, and she knows that. However, with the bat and bird protecting her, it will be difficult."
"Don't forget, she has begun dating the silver boy."
"Yes. But is it worth it to own her?"
"Sir?"
"I've seen her work at a small amount of power. I wonder how destructive she can be at full power. This girl can, no, will be, the end of the Justice League."
"Of course, sir."
"Leave me." The girl nodded, her red eyes glimmering in the dark. Then she exited without a sound.
The boy stepped out from the shadows, his yellow eyes darting around the screens. Each screen had a different picture of the same girl. He reached out and picked one.
"We've waited a long time for you, deary. It's time to come home."
