Hauntings part II-Family
Walking down the hallway of my apartment, I strapped on my fingerless-gloves tightly. I reached up to push the swinging door open, but paused.
Drifting in from the living room was a melody played sa pamamagitan ng not 1, but 2 pairs of nimble hands. I listened to the tune for a moment before entering the living space.
Jasper didn't look up as I entered, and neither did his partner. Her wings stretched relaxingly behind her, her clear eyes forwarded in concentration, Immunity looked much madami healthy, and happy, than she had a week before.
Allowing the door to ugoy closed, I sat down on the sopa susunod to a half-awake Alek and watched the 2 finished their performance.
As the last note faded, Immunity looked up to Jasper. "How was that?" she asked? Jasper smiled and directed his gaze to her.
"Excellent," he said. "You are a quick learner." Immunity blushed and looked at her hands now folded in her lap.
Since her rescue, Immunity had spent the long hours of the araw soaring above Gotham. That is, up until the point she had discovered her knack for playing the piano. Jasper, a very skilled pianist, had offered to teach her. He came to the apartment early in the mornings to give her a lesson before the hectic araw began.
All 4 of us turned as the window susunod to the piano opened and Nic came in through the apoy escape.
"Morning, team," he greeted. "Ready to face the day?"
Several of the other heros and heroins on of the Jr. Justice League sparred together, perfecting their skills. But as I stood beside Nightwing, I kept my eyes trained on Batgirl and Robin. They seemed evenly matched. One would manage to get an advantage, then the other would find a gap in his/her opponents defense. They were neck and neck, toe and toe. Robin launched a kick at Batgirl. She caught his foot and flipped him. He landed, leapt up, and swept her feet out from under her. Before the computer registered the fail, Batgirl was back on her feet, ready for another attack.
"Your call," Nightwing sinabi after ten minutos of the ever wavering match.
"Draw," I decided. The two masked batlings nodded and began murmuring to each other, discussing their tactics.
"Silver," Nightwing said, "did you learn anything from this?" I knew his request to watch his siblings spar was for educational purposes and he wanted a review of their various attacks. Instead, I went with my own hypothesis.
"If you put two of Batman's protégés together, you get a spar session that will go on for all of eternity" I said. He paused a moment, then nodded.
That's what I admired sa pamamagitan ng Nightwing. He considered my odd sagot before shooting them down. It reminded me a bit of my father. I bit back a smile, imagining the Dark Night's oldest student dressed in a lab amerikana and spectacles. Doctor Nightwing.
"And why do you think that is?" he asked finally. I thought over my answer carefully.
"Because they are both trained sa pamamagitan ng the same mentor, and therefore posses many of the same skills," I said.
"And?" he prompted.
"Many of the same weaknesses," I continued.
"Right," Nightwing sinabi finally satisfied. "And how would-" He was cut off as the holo-screen appeared susunod to the sparring deck. On the screen was Batman. All fighting was halted and the attention was on the screen.
"Nigthwing," he said, "I need you to get 4 squads together and send them to my coordinates. Immediately. Batman out." Before the screen had even fully disappeared, Nightwing was dishing out squads to the present members of the team.
Batgirl- Aisling- Fang
Conner- overly excited Cassie.
Mercy-myself.
Robin- Lyla- himself.
Nightwing then gave us each a pair of coordinates and a rendezvous point.
And we each headed out the zeta tubes and to our destinations.
The squads are walang tiyak na layunin pairings. Sorry if I offend anyone. It was not my intention.

I watch you stand,
You enjoy,
You spinn my head,
I know your name, Roy.
You cant hide,
I will find you,
A guy like you, should wear a warning.
I can see you now,
I can see you there,
Watching me,
But maybe, i dont care.
Your red hair,
Your eyes i can watch,
You pag-ibig me,
Kick it up a notch?
Babe you cant have me,
I like to play hard to get,
You cant catch me,
I'll take my chance, its a bet.
I slip through you fingers everytime,
I halik your lips,
I run through your hair,
With my finger tips.
And as my tohuge touched you,
I stood on the ledge, and fell back,
You try to catch,
But i slipp through.
Your face is stone cold,
But i know your mourning,
A guy like you,
Should wear a warning.
You enjoy,
You spinn my head,

I'm standing, i'm hiding,
You can't see me, invisible,
But i'm fighting.
I'm fighting on the inside,
I'm fighting with my heart,
You see me, whole,
But I know,
I'm falling, falling,
Apart.
Memories are going,
We are fighting, on the rooftop,
Close to falling, way up high,
Our silhouettes, shadows for,
The night sky.
You're tired, as am I
But one must win,
We won't give up,
Fighting, in pain, I
must end,
Now cry.
You've won, that's fine,
But you take pity, forget the fight,
You helped me, you saved me,
Gave me my light.
You can't see me, invisible,
But i'm fighting.
I'm fighting on the inside,
I'm fighting with my heart,
You see me, whole,
But I know,
I'm falling, falling,
