Chapter 8-

Rome, Italy
7:23 CET December 19

The two teenagers packed their bags and checked out of the hotel before heading out into the damp, gloomy morning.

Artemis could tell Wally was determined, he hadn't eaten yet. The two marched down to the train station where they caught a train heading toward Venice.

About an oras into the trip, the two teens' tensions were running high.

"This is going to take forever!" Wally complained.

"I don't like it anymore than you do." Artemis replied.

"By the time we get there, the boats will be closed!"...

Chapter 6-

Rome, Italy
7:31 CET December 16

Wally woke up, which was a surprise because his alarm clock hadn't rang.

He was about to get up when he felt something on his chest. He looked down and was surprised to see Artemis's head. Her long blonde hair pooled on the ground and she looked so peaceful. Wally would never admit it in a million years, but he thought she looked cute too.

He hated to wake her up, but they had a job to do. Plus, he was starving.

"Artemis," he whispered into her ear, gently shaking her. "Wake up."

Artemis groaned and rolled over. Wally caught her head before she hit it on...

I turned my head sharply to look directly at him. He jumped. I looked at him through narrowed eyes. He tried to look confident, but failed. Both Kid Flashes were running laps around the room. I grabbed the one from my dimension as he ran by.
‘Stop wasting your energy! You’ll have none left to fight at this rate’ I mentally growled
‘Who sinabi we were fighting?’ he asked
‘He did’ I though, subtly gesturing to Control Freak.
‘He’s a fat couch-potato. What can he do?’ Wally thought
‘Haven’t you noticed? There’s no windows, no air vents, no tiny holes in the walls for air, yet...

Chapter 4-

Rome, Italy
11:47 CET December 14

The comic book store exploded, throwing Wally and Artemis into the street. Torn pieces of paper and rubble from the store rained down around them.

"You okay?" Wally asked, getting off of Artemis. 

"I'm fine. You?" Artemis replied, standing up.

"Good- ow!" Wally picked a piece of debris out of his back. 

Crowds were gathering around the former store. People were running everywhere. It was a very chaotic scene.

"Cover me!" Wally said, ducking in an alley. Before Artemis could inquire anything, Kid Flash zoomed back. 

"Go change, I'll take care of the crowds."...

Chapter Three- 

"Artemis, checking in. All clear up here." Artemis radioed in. The rest of the Team radioed in their positions and status'. 

"The parade is beginning." Robin said.

The Team had spread out along the kalye the parade was taking place. Their was roughly one superhero every block. Artemis was the closest to the action. Her bow notched and ready, her watchful eye over the garrisons of policemen and women below her spot on Town Hall.

Aqualad was near the park where a pond conveniently located.

Robin, Miss Martian, Superboy, and Kid Flash were in order down the street.

[b]A Bad Start

Washington DC

August 11, 4:29 EDT[b]

The front door opened as Grace Emilia Ross walked through it. She looked around. "Sasmootch?" she called for her dog questioningly when she heard the back door close. "Hello?" she asked. "Is someone there?" she cautiously left the front door, and upon entering the living room to the right, she craned her neck, trying to see into the kusina around the corner. "Dad, is that chou?" walking around the corner, she saw her dog sitting on the hard wood floor, waiting for her.

"Melanie, time to wake up, our meeting with Mr.Wayne is in 35 minutes." My mom sinabi gently. I groaned and turned around, my eyes squinted due to the light shown through the satin curtain. "And why do I need to go? Besides, its not like I get any benefit from these stupid meetings." My mom sighed, "Melanie, your father and I won't be around forever, and we just want you to be prepared." I really hated it when she called me sa pamamagitan ng my full name. "Why can't you just call me Mel?" I groaned. She laughed and walked out of my room. "You have 35 minutes." She sinabi again before she quietly closed the door....

"WHAT THE FUDGE?"
That was Sierra's greeting to her Gotham apartment.
She breathed in.
"Lemme explain. The-"
"NOOOOOOOOOO YOU'RE ALL OVER THE FUDGING NEWS!!! They're calling you the new hero. You better thank wizard God that, that camera guy could get close enough to see your face Sierra Izabella Bowen!" Mrs.Bowen yelled.
"Well now you can't blame me 'cause the whole buildings just heard your little....vent."
Mrs.Bowen sighed realizing her daughter was correct.
A loud knocking came from the door.
"If that's the press I'll tell him-"

I waited until the sun had set before leaving the cave. The night sky was setting in as I walked through the forest. I found a large oak puno and climbed up it. I climbed to the very top, then kalapati to the ground. I landed perfectly. I walked to the tabing-dagat and started doing tai chi under the clear night sky. I ran along the tabing-dagat and did an aryl. I did some back flips and landed nicely. Someone started to clap. I whipped around to find Wally and Robin standing there.
“What do you want?” I asked, pulling down my cowl.
“I was uh…wondering…” Wally started. Robin sighed loudly.
“Mr. Smooth...

“Teela, Pois, dispose of the outsider. I will deal with the cub” Lady Liger growled. She got off the trono and walked down to the muddy ground. I grabbed my vibranium energy daggers and stood in a defensive position.
“Back down now cub and maybe I’ll spare your life” Liger threatened
“No” I said. She roared and lunged at me, four hundred pounds of human coming right at me. I flipped over her and kicked her back. She spun around and lunged again. This time I slid under her legs. When she lunged a third time, I punched her face, then her stomach, then her underarm where the pressure...

Lily sighed. She was gonna miss the cave. And mostly the people inside it. She thought about her first week, a secret crush on Robin.Lily's segundo week, girl's night out with Artemis, M'gann and Zatanna. Her forth week. Getting over the crush. And today. The araw her powers got taken away.
(5 hours earlier)
The team was in a heated battle between themselves and Abra Kabra. His so called "magic" was getting the best of them. Lily ran at him and an in the blink of an eye he used his wand and a zap of electricity went through her.
"SHIFTER!" Artemis called, seeing her friend land rather hard...

“Hurry! We could be too late!”
“Wally, stop it! Don't make me nervous or it'll be too late for you!”
Wally shut his mouth, looking over Becca's shoulder instead. She groaned but the code was accessed. They ran down a secret corridor, following the once Dark Angel. When they got to a fork, Devin turned to them.
“We'll have to split up. Becca and I will take the left. You guys go for the right.”
Before anyone could object, both girls turned and ran down their hall. When they were out of sight, Devin opened her wings in the bigger space.

“What's the plan?” Wally whispered as he and Becca danced to the song.
“Just keep playing as we are. I had Devin let the others know. We're the inside spies. Any sign, we let them know. And vice versa.”
“So we have to keep faking liking each other until we find find Robin?”

For some odd reason, Wally felt his puso sink. There was something about Becca that drew his attention. It made him want to focus. And that was saying a lot, considering his long record of NOT being able to pay attention. He pulled Becca jut a little bit closer and was surprised when...

“In case you and Robin go out after missions?”

“Devin can use a little of her guardian power to make it fit you. Now if you need me, which you shouldn't, I'll be back soon.”
