pag-ibig is a very strong word, it can only come about when 2 people agree to commit to each other. I read your nakaraan comment about liking another guy and you suddenly like this guy because he is nice, now this poses 2 problems. One is the fact that do you genuinely have feelings for this Jackson, or did you suddenly like him because he is the complete OPPOSITE of the guy you sinabi you had a crush on. The segundo problem is, you CANNOT petsa a friend without it being about love. Eventually, one, or even both of you will have romantic feelings and the other might not, and this will cause serious emotional strain on the matter.
My payo is this, you really have to think carefully about your feelings. You just sinabi you had a crush on another guy and now you suddenly like this guy because he is nice. If you were Jackson, wouldn't you want someone who was true and genuine in their feelings?
What you are feeling now for him isn't love, it is just a crush because he seems to be the complete opposite of the guy you liked before. In all honesty, as a guy, we do treat the girls in our lives well, but that does not mean we are in pag-ibig with you.
I think he is really good friend to you and if you live very far apart, a long-distance relationship isn't easy either and you should really think about things before coming to a conclusion.
