Skipper added "Woah, woah, Private relax, it's not real, like what Kowalski said, it's just a prank, just don't believe everything you hear, right Rico?", "Yup" Rico said.

"Hmmm I guess you guys are right, I'm just scaring myself silly" I responded, chuckling. That night, I was busy cleaning up my bunk when I attempted to play the scary ring tone. Soon enough after that, I canceled the sound and proceeded to my bunk. Though scared, I was even madami curious if the sound file was just really a prank or an evidence to a real murder, either way I can't prove anything. I was thinking of homicide, but the creepy voice of the man didn't sound like he was trying to grapple down the screaming woman. It sounded as if he was inside her instead. This puzzled me, but I was too tired to think of it too much and eventually I dozed off to the silent hours of the night.

The susunod early morning, I woke up to rumor going around in the zoo that in a nearby hotel a woman was found dead in her room with no evidence of foul play, it became the talk of the town or madami specifically the talk of the zoo, since we lived in one. The whole morning was filled with visitors, including the zoosters talking about the suicide, but a witness who was the one who reported the incident, sinabi she heard screaming and pleas for help, but everyone decided to go with suicide since there was no evidence of foul play. At first, I thought nothing of it and went on my daily routine.

It was until later that araw that I found out what was the connection was with the murder. We were sneaking into Alice's office for any news regarding tighter security around the zoo. Apparently the lady that was murdered, was actually the owner of the phone that I had taken two days ago. Now I realize what people meant when they sinabi to never take things that aren't yours, well now I know what they meant. Tired of hearing about these murder/suicide comments, I asked permission from Skipper to return to the ligtas haven of our HQ to get some rest. "Umm Skipper, requesting permission to go back at HQ for a quick nappie pls. I don't feel so good sir" I asked, tapping him lightly on his shoulders.

Thankfully he agreed to allow me to return. "Permission granted soldier, to tell you honestly , you really do need a nap Private, now go to it. And get some shut eye soldier" sinabi Skipper. "Yippie, thanks Skipper" I responded, clapping my flippers lightly in utter enjoyment.

Without time to waste, I immediately went back, but the minuto I got back, the phone suddenly rang and for the third time I heard the devilish ring tone. Instead however, of hearing the same ending the night before, the man in the recording sinabi something different: "You're next"

My ordeal has just begun and it's only the beginning...
