Skipper backed off, all the guys were huddled together. "Babies, come here lil guy...What? No we don't have fruit, sorry." Starlite was talking to the bat, the guys looked at her, disturbed. "Oh? You don't understand? Right, i'm speaking Animal English..." Starlite started mouthing words, but nothing came out. A few segundos later, the bat flew off as silent as the night sky. "YOU SPEAK BAT?" Kowalski was astounded. "No...not normally...*gasp* Kowalski what is the petsa today?" Starlite sinabi fast, a hint of fear drifted in her voice. "Ummm... October 30th... Tomorrows Halloween! "And where do you think your going?" Skipper asked, puffing up his chest. "SKIPPER! ilipat you moron! i have to get as far away from any living creature as possible!" "*sigh* ...3 years ago, October 31st. i had run away from the Zoo in London after being bullied, that's a different story. i ran into a thick pine forest, the ground was covered with the prickly leaves from the pines, the forest pagtunaw moist and, of course, like pine and moss. There was no breeze because of the pines, it was a freezing evening. i was running deeper and deeper, not remembering which way was back. "i always thought Bampira were just pale, not scary, but when i saw what i saw, it scarred me for life. Its face was not pale, it was pure white. It had no nose, just two slits like a snake. its eyes were pure white, only two thin lines provided as its pupil. Its mouth... No lips, just two fangs *shiverd* and no teeth and not even a tongue. It moved towards me, it spoke...No, it hissed. "Hello little penguin...Don't run, i don't like a race for my susunod victim." i just stood, nagyelo in shock... i stumbled back. He moved towards me, he jumped. He had claws for nails, i felt his fangs dig into my neck, it was the worst pain i have ever felt. And i started felling weak...i couldn't become a vampire. So i kicked him away, he hissed and flew off. i wondered if he had done the deed. But howe come i was still bleeding? That's all i could remember, the susunod araw i was back in the zoo... But there were several reports of missing children. i had a feeling...That's when i got flashbacks, i remember biting into those same children." She took a deep breath, paranoia was written all over the other penguins faces.
"It only happens once a year, during the araw of Halloween i look pale and can't be exposed to light... But on the 31st of October at night...i'm a vam-penguin. You can laugh all you want. It was dracula who attacked me, i looked it up on the internet. He was just a cannibal who had a craving for blood, he got burned to karneng hiniwa sa pamamagitan ng villagers eventually... But legend has it he comes back and looks for victims... And i was one of them. And here is your proof Kowalski...Two holes in my neck. But you don't have to worry, i'm not a vampire. i'm only a vampire for a night, otherwise i'm still the same old Starlite." She lifted her neck feathers, and there was the evidence... Two perfect holes on her neck.
Private jumped up and screamed "HEEELP!!!!!! A SHE-DEMON WANTS TO KILL US!!!!!!" Starlite rubbed her forehead. "Private... i pag-ibig you! Your my best friend! Wнч would i hurt any of you? If i'm in Vampire form i can't help it! i can barely even remember what happens! But that is wнч i am asking you for help!" She sinabi desperately. Private puffed up "i pag-ibig you to Starlite, well as a friend of course. i will help you." "Thank you Private." She smiled a wide smile. "We will all help, but can i ask you a favour Starlite? Don't call me a moron, i have a sensitive ego." Skipper asked kindly. Starlite felt so bad, she walked towards him and gave him a hug. "Sorry, didn't know Skipper. Thanks guys! Now if you will excuse me, i'm gonna find garlic to put inside the room. It will hurt but it will prevent me from hurting anyone." She went out of the HQ. Skipper and Private had smirks on their faces. "She told me she loves me!" "So what? She hugged me!!!!!!!! Doesn't matter i like someone else..." Skipper said. The others raised their eyebrows (or the black ontop of their heads)
"Ok... So we found a small room, there's garlic and spikes." Private sinabi looking at Kowalski's lab that they had transformed into a vampire-proof room. "And don't forget that we have blocked the sunlight out so that you won't turn into dust." Kowalski added. "Thanks guys! At least now i won't have a guilty concious. But tomorrow will you guys keep me company? Just not at night. i can go outside, just as long as i'm not in the sun to long. Oh, and just before i forget, i will try to charm you into staying with me after dark...Don't fall for it" She sighed. "Ok... Men and Starlite. Commence operation :Halloween Bite." Skipper said, the others had payed attention to what Starlite had said, but unfortunately... Skipper was to wrapped up in his own thoughts.
