Have you ever put a book down?

And not pick it up again?

So far its happened to me twice

This one book i read about half of it. It was a story about a girl living in small Christian town. She thinks its rather boring. A new jewish kid comes to town and people are like "He's jewish omg" Something gets stolen and they blame it on the jewish kid. That's when i put it down.

This other book i read a 4th of it. Its about the moon being shot out of its spot in the sky and shit goes down. The main girl and her family try to adapt. It was going ok for me but then the main girl got a boyfriend. She hangs out with him. Her mom finds out and was like "OMG are you sleeping with him? You are never to see him again" The girl was like (she wasn't sleeping with him for they were only dating for like a month) "But mom i pag-ibig him" I hate it when girls say that. That's when i put it down.

End your stories with "That's when i put it down"

No, I've never had to put a book down because books aren't alive in the first place. You cannot kill something that is already dead. That's when I didn't put it down.

Yes I've put down books that are boring and I don't normally attempt to get back into them later cos it just feels double boring the segundo time.

btw, that 2nd book you described sounded quite good. Do you remember what its called or who wrote it?

I'm pretty sure it's "Life as we Knew It", sa pamamagitan ng Susan Beth Pfeffer. The paglalarawan sounded familiar.

those clique books. i started the firt and made it about three quarters through. i cant remember exactly when i put it down, but every chapter was the same.
ps. the book you mentioned with the moon is actually a really good read (at least i thought it was) you pretty much put it down before the story started. getting through the middle takes a little perserverence, but its worth it.(plus dont worry about the romance. you were at the peak of it. she didnt even mean it)

I got through the first book before I couldn't take it anymore. Now, If there wasn't any mivie to poison my mind with already-made pictures of what the characters look like, act sound like etc., then the book might not have been as bad...

Yeah, if I hadn't already seen the cheesy movie, I'd probably hate it less.

i wouldnt throw away a twilihgt book, i would 1. stab it several times, 2. burn it and 3. give the ashes to my worst enemy, because i'm pretty sure that thing is cursed to always cause obbsesive fangirlisims if you read it all the way through. i'm already planning a funeral for my friend's former self. she is pagbaba twilight.
