What are your thoughts on Osama bin Laden's death?

Like I sinabi before (although it's not an opinion)...

He didn't deserve to die.

Bin Laden's role in the war against terrorism had dwindled for the past several years. It had trickeld down to just bidyo of him threatenig the U.S. True, he did help foster the 9/11 attacks in America but in no way does his death signal the end of the ongoing threat of terrorism.
The Al-Quaida have thousands of followers and already someone else is going stepping up to be his successor. So besides giving families of the those killed in the attacks some sense of justice, his death does not amount to much.
On the other hand those who will actually celebrate his death.. I, I just cannot imagine peoplle having the nerve to do that. To me it is disgusting. Death is not something to be celebrated(exceptions are in the rememberence of the deceased in funerals). All across the world terrorists cheered at the fall of the Twin Towers, now here we are cheering at the fall of this man. It isn't right. And I know that there are some who will tell me otherwise but this is just the way I feel...It is a sickening display of human contempt and a superficial feel of triumph.
It's saddening...

What would America do if the Taliban had killed the president? Replace him of course. The death of Laden does not mark the end of anything, for all we know it could be just the start of a war that could last longer than our lifetimes. Like a new crusades that will last way past Laden's time.

And I am rather doubtful about the sincerity of his death.

I honestly don't get why people say "he didn't deserve it" or "why are you celebrating over it? he was human". I'm sorry-actually, no I can 100% say that I am absolutely fricking over-the-wall ECSTATIC over him dying. Thousands of people's lives were ruined and taken away, and I am not shedding one ounce of sympathy for that monster. Obviously this isn't over but I feel this was if anything, a personal victory for us, and honestly I just feel better that after 10 years, we finally, FINALLY got him. While yes I would like to see pictures or some proof, at the same time, I'm just happy the bastard is dead. The world just got rid of one madami scumbag and right now, I'm extremely thankful. I remember shortly after 9/11, I can't remember the araw but always the aftermath, of people being so scared and I remember I used to get nightmares about everything, and hearing that he died just made me feel better, a lot better, and I know not everything's solved yet, but personally, I'm glad the bastard is dead.

I honestly think it was really stupid for them to kill him. Now his country's gonna get all enraged and there's going to be even madami terrorism. Why don't people think of these things??

Unfortunately I am not as noble as the late, great Dr. King. I do feel a bit of relief and something like happiness, but I respect and admire this quote as applied to this situation.

I don't believe he's dead. How do we know if this is real or just a lie from the goverment? And I won't believe it 'til they give us some proof that he's dead.

He deserved to die. He was a horrible man. Death is horrible, so I don't feel like jumping up and down, but it's good to know that we're a step closer to ending terrorism.

For me he desevered to die. (I know I sound mean) but I Nawawala one of my uncle's because of 9/11. Of course they were stupid to dispose of his body like that. Many have died because of him, including his 2 younger sons that were killed sa pamamagitan ng accident because of him, and his oldest son who was douche and used another woman as protection, I hated his guts, and I didn't even know the dude.

That's one less terrorist America has to worry about, after the attack he did on the twin towers he deserved to get killed.
And I sort of laughed when he used his wife as a human shield trying NOT to get killed but they both did anyway.
I was also glad his older son was killed to prevent him from becoming like his father.

laden was a moron and that's all..can't believe people still blame him for 9/11. i mean seriously anyone with even half a brain can tell it was an inside job. as far as his death is concerned..this world is relieved of one idiot..big whoop..million others out there to replace him.

I actually sinabi "YES!" during history about this (because he deserved to die), but I admit it did feel a little weird hearing the words assassination and celebrate in the same sentence.

I think it's wrong to celebrate his death and scream 'USA!' everywhere. Like, you can be happy, but celebrating someone's death just seems stupid and wrong. Plus, he has a lot of members and we didn't get rid of the Al Queda completely.

Well, sa pamamagitan ng now everyone knows that the picture that they showed on tv is fake. But that doesn't mean that he's not dead.
What i think is that he's been Dead for like 5 years and they only found that out. So they had to do something to tell the world that Osama Bin Laden was dead. SO they came up with what you've hear in tv.

It goes against my religion to celebrate someone who is dead. But i honestly am glad he is gone. He has been nothing but evil to America.Even though Osama is dead it is not over, there are madami people that would like to us killed. Im glad he is dead though over 5000 service men and women have died over there, and the thousands injured.

We cant stop the war in this world. But all i want is for there to be peace and Justice. I dont care if his country is in rage, one less terrorist is gone and im glad. We can only hope there will be no madami incidents like 9/11. But i know Justice will be done to all who are evil.

While i am glad that the families of the 9/11 victims got some closure or vengance, i really wouldnt care less if he was killed or captured alive or still in hiding, he wasnt nearly as bad as Hitler, and i persoanlly believe death was a madami merciful punishment than a psychological punishment. I was hoping that Bin Laden would be captured and forced to live the remainder of his life in solitary, with only the bare essentials for survival, let him feel the lonliness an emptiness that the survivors trapped in the rubble of the towers had to endure.
And as for the people crowded in the streets screaming USA, USA, the people who treat this occasion as a reason for closure and not those who revel in even his blooshed are what make america great. I prefer a world that lives peacefully and harmoniously, not one that warmongers and stands apart!
