Why do people think having a boyfriend/girlfriend on fanpop is cool????

Well I haven't seen anyone on FANPOP exactly, but I honestly don't see what's wrong with long-distance relationships. I've seen plenty, especially this girl on Tumblr who I've seen talking with her girlfriend. They're both devoted and pag-ibig each other, and I've seen many people in these types of relationships. Yes, there are people who are lying, but it's easy to tell who is most of the time. I find these relationships slightly better than real ones in some ways, because people get to know people sa pamamagitan ng what they post and their interests and things, without seeing their face or making impressions like people do in the real world. Relationships in real life are definitely easier and madami common, but nothing is wrong with either. I have internet mga kaibigan who are my real friends, even though I've never met them in real life, and relationships aren't all that different.

I think it's cool. I really enjoy long distance internet dating.
If people are capable of developing emotions for book characters, a person can fall for someone online. It's pretty much the same thing, only better because the "character" is really talking to you.

I actually have a real girlfriend and the reason others do it on here is because they can't get a petsa at there school, that's a reason to laugh at them.

It's a matter of personal opinion and preference. No need to be so harsh, and you can't say that they don't have a real be boyfriend/girlfriend when what they feel for one another may be very real indeed.

Well see there is a reason for most of what your saying.
Like for instance, some people can' t get a real bf/gf that's why theres this thing called dating sites.
then again, i know my gf in real life and she lives somewhere in washington for special reasons,but we keep in contact with both phone and internet. She always comes back in the summer. So....there ya go....

I'm in one. It's wonderful. I couldn't wish for better. We've never had a problem. Ever. We have a good enough relationship as anybody else. If you pag-ibig someone, you can't just let them go. I'm tired of people telling me to leave him just because he is far away. It almost makes me ashamed to say, "Yeah my boyfriend lives on the other side of the border" when I shouldn't have to be. It's just like any other relationship except we can't f**k and make out every three minutos like most do. And you know what? It doesn't bother us. AT ALL. And you know what else? It makes us want to see and talk to each other. All the time. It makes us miss each other, in a good sense. It makes us ridiculously happy when we finally do talk all night, together. Whether we're touching or not we're HAPPY. So why is everyone trying to tear us apart? It's irritating, and I feel the need to ask. Your opinion? Don't give me this, "they never work out" crap, unless you know how to back it up. I've already heard it all. Feel the need to prove me wrong? Go for it. It isn't going to change how I feel and it isn't going to break up my relationship. I'd just like to know what others have to say.
