I need help making a decision.

My computer is crap... it's always freezing, crashing, and I have to pray for it just to turn on.
I can't play any of my installed video games.

My father said, and I quote, "You could buy yourself an early pasko present."
In my personal bank account, I have around $2,000.

For a whole new computer and 'features', my father sinabi it could be around $1,000.

So, I'm asking, should I do it? Should I just buy a whole new computer?

sumali the club my laptop's the same way but i manage to live with it . okay from what i can tell you want to know wheather or not you should buy the computer. hmm if buying a whole new computer is what you want then go for it. however you have to be sure if you want the computer who knows? you proberly want other things too but the important thing is to buy what you need and that's it don't waste your money on something else you want to buy.and your welcome for the advanced

1) Do you have any plans for your savings?
2) If so, how important are they?
3) Could you earn the money back somehow if you spent it?
4) How often would you use the new computer?
5) Would it help you with school, etc?
6) Are you happy enough to continue using your current computer if it saves you the money?

Wait until Black Friday to get it, if you're going to. The prices should be cheaper. I got my computer in March for around $600 new. I spent another $150 on accessories. Also, ask yourself if you really need a new computer or if you could just get it repaired or something. You could also sell your old computer.
