What do you think of this short speech I wrote?
Okay, so I was going through my sagot on my bista sa tagiliran page and I came across this one answer I made. Someone asked me what I thought of the issue of child abuse, and I wrote a speech which I thought was pretty impressive (not to be stuck-up or anything, lol), but no one else answered and she never nagkomento to say if she agreed with me or liked it. So I decided to copy it, make a question, paste it here, and see if you guys like it.
Here it is;
I ABSOLUTELY DESPISE IT...
Child abuse is one of the most dispicable crimes in the world, in my opinion. Why would you want to harm a young, innocent child? No matter what he or she has done, they do not deserve to be abused. There is a thin but clear, definite line between punishment and abuse; spanking and put in a time-out chair or corner is suitable discipline, but beating a child with a cord, slamming them into walls, burning them with cigarettes, or even worse is ABUSE and nothing but ABUSE. Children deserve to live childhoods in peace and harmony. Our children should live in a world of happiness and love, not in a world filled with hurt and shame....
What do you think? :)
