What are some things you hate (or dislike, if you think 'hate' is a strong word) in the music community?

Being short at a concert!

Disrespectful fans at concerts; people who get super aggressive in most pits, people who try to mosh with people who don't want to, people who try to squeeze up to the front when you and a few others have been there first and you literally have to fight them to keep your spot, obnoxious drunks, etc. Have konsiyerto etiquette people.

People who try to tell you you're not a real tagahanga if you can't name every song sa pamamagitan ng certain bands and stuff like that.

I get that five finger death manuntok is kind of a normie band as far as metal though, and there are better bands out there, but you don't have to put people down for liking them

-"You can't like x genre if you like y genre!" Or like "if you like anything other than Goth music then you're a poser!"

-"X genre isn't REAL music. If you want REAL music listen to this thing that I specifically like!"

-"Music sucks nowadays madami than it ever has." Okay maybe mainstream pop music has gotten a little samey and uninpired, and I pag-ibig a lot of old music. But saying music just sucks now is like such a disservice to current indie artists that are doing such cool and inventive stuff.

-When someone asks who my favourite member of a band I like is. This is madami of a pet peeve than something I hate, but honestly I probably have no idea what any of the member's names are.

-VINYL RECORD SNOBS. I really want to get into vinyl records but I don't know what's genuine product reviews and what's just elitism because I see so much of both.

-Another pet peeve and not a hated thing but when people ask me who my favourite band is I have the hardest time answering. I usually say Joy Division because I pag-ibig Joy Division but like... I don't think I have just 1 paborito band
-its even worse when people ask what my favourite song is.

That everything old is seen as better. Does not matter if you're comparing a new band to an old one, if you're comparing a new Justin Bieber album to an old one, or a kpop video to a new one, the old one will always be seen as better. Even if the quality is outdated, poor, or just pangkalahatang bad.

It's the same thing I hate in any fandom. Elitism in its various incarnations. I was posting on my blog and I posted a BTS post and someone who was following me literally sinabi the group was shitty and the post was a shitty post. After fussing him out I promptedly blocked him. No need to deal with his stupidity.

I avoid the music community for the most part.

I’m probably going to be part of the minority here, but I hate how literally everyone bitches about Justin Beiber. Like, yeah, I get it—not everyone like him. There are plenty of artists that I don’t particularly like, either, but I don’t take a stab at them every chance I get. I’m not a die-hard “belieber”, but some of his songs pretty damn good. I’m not going to deny the talent I think someone has just because everyone else hates them.

Pretty much, what everyone above me has already said. Literally EVERYTHING. To sum it up, both Elitists, mindless Haters and simply disrespectful fans. Those who will judge you according to what you hear and consider your taste inferior or declare you as not being a True tagahanga if you don't meet their standards. Those who hate simply for the sake of doing so. Just because it is the ''Trendy'' thing to do. Ignorant people who never gave a certain Artist or Genre a chance yet they are so willing to bash on those who have and liked what they heard. ''Fans'' who give up on Artists they were listening simply because of one Song that wasn't particularly to their liking or couldn't stand their respective Fandom. There are madami reasons as well. In overall, reasons about what I dislike in any Fandom. The Toxic part of them. Each Community has it whether it's small or big. Can't say that I have been interacting with most of them (Music included).

Also, concerning what Zanhar sinabi about Concerts, such irresponsible behavior is certainly quite nerve-wracking. You are going there to feel the Music and enjoy yourself. Not being pushed around or having to deal with any annoying person that comes your way !!!!
