I actually have. I was diagnosed at age three (you cannot be diagnosed after age seven), after my preschool teacher suggested I get "tested" to my parents. But my parents got angry at first. Then they started noticing things, and they were seriously considering it. The final straw was when I was at my aunts house (she lives on a cliff) and I almost rode my tricycle off the cliff without even realizing it, even as my aunt was screaming my name and chasing after me... then they knew something was weird.

But it's not like people always think. It's more than just "I am not easily distrac- ooh! A butterfly!" That's only a part of it. It includes a lot of things. Hyperactivity (I vibrate when I'm hyper. People always ask me if I'm cold... and I am known by several people as "Hyper Girl" and people have told me that I am the only person they know who vibrates), forgetfulness, excessively daydreamy, easily distracted, fidgety, often tends to talk excessively, has a hard time listening, etc. There are a few different types of ADHD (my brother is Hyperactive/Impulsive, while I'm Inattentive/Hyperactive) and mine came with Social Anxiety Disorder (which really sucks). I also have a 504 plan in school (meaning I get to take state tests in a separate location and I get time-and-a-half). Yes, I do see a psychiatrist regularly (once every six months, not weekly or anything) and I am on medication for it (Focalin).

But I'm proud to have ADHD, because there are theories that people with ADHD are more creative than normal, and creativity is one of the traits I value most.

i was thought to have it initially but it later turned out to be aspergers syndrome, which is a form of autism.
