We have a neighbour-from-hell who REFUSES to feed her chickens. Sometimes the chickens say "# this" and escape from her 'yard' looking for food. They usually have enough sense NOT to run across the road, they usually stay on their side of the street and scratch through the grass (etc) there. This particular neighbour also executes that week's roast chicken in front of the other chickens, so another reason for them to go walkabout.

Has anyone seen the movie "Chicken Run"? Claymation staring Mel Gibson as the rooster. Heartily sympathise with all the chickens, glad they escaped and hope the same for the ones in our street.
