The susunod morning I was rudely awoken to a bolt hitting me in the forehead. I yelped and placed my handed over my bump. Then I realized that my head was on Duncan's lap.
"So, how did the whole thing with Courtney go?" I asked him.
"Broken up." He sinabi carelessly.
"What?" I yelped. Courtney is going to kill me! I looked over at her. She was talking with Heather, the two complaining about economy class. Then Alejandro came down with pagkain from first class. He walked over to me.
"Gwen. You must have been freezing yesterday. Here." The smooth teen offered me a pack of Gobstoppers. A smile came onto my face. I had been craving those since I got off the plane! Gee, thanks Chris for telling me that these were in first class this whole time.
"Wow! Thanks!" I sinabi while I took them from him. Duncan gave me a look.
"Anytime when I'm in first class, just ask and whatever you need is yours." He sinabi before he walked over to Sierra. Before I could even open the box, Duncan snatched it from me.
"What the hell?" I snapped while I took the box back. I got protective when it came to Gobstoppers. (A/N: Same! Only 'cause I loves them!)
"Okay. One, secret boyfriend slash best friend gets some too, and two, why are you letting him get close to you?" he asked.
"It was just a friendly gesture." I comforted him. Then I poured some of my paborito kendi into his hand, taking out a green one from his small pile and popping it into my mouth. Duncan then placed a red one onto his tongue, curling it back into his mouth. I looked around quickly. No one was watching. I pressed my lips against his, only to feel his piece of kendi roll into my mouth. We pulled apart. He didn't argue. I noticed the outline of his tongue searching his mouth.
"Where's my candy?" he asked. I smirked and smiled, the small red ball in between my teeth. "Wow. That was freaking hot!" he exclaimed. He pressed his lips against mine, using his tongue to steal his kendi back from my mouth.
"Alright everyone, into the elimination room for info on your susunod location!" Chris sinabi over the loudspeaker. We just sighed and walked into the elimination room, me placing a handful of kendi into my pocket.
When we got in there, we saw a Zodiac, and Chris wearing a lifejacket. We got in, hoping that Chris would give us lifejackets. But no. He told us that since there were fourteen of us and only one "valuable" him. Then I realized something. Bridgette wasn't here! Well, that's what you get for messing with Alejandro. And the kendi thing, that was just me accepting my paborito candy. No was in hell was I letting him get me eliminated.
"Hit it Chef!" Chris shouted. Then the floor dropped, and we landed in the water. In front of the statue of liberty. So, we're in NYC! This was my paborito place to go whenever I could! I really hope we go to Broadway! We docked, and then Chris explained the challenge. "Since we're in New York City, I thought that it would be fun if we spent some time on Broadway!" he exclaimed. I smiled. I adored that place. "you will be racing there with baby carriages. And when you get there, you will perform songs that are assigned to you when you get there. Ready, go!" Chris said. "Oh! And sa pamamagitan ng the by, the carriages are on tuktok of Lady Liberty's crown!" he sinabi before he was driven away sa pamamagitan ng an intern.
"Let's go!" I shouted. My team quickly followed me to the lines of steel wood leading up to the crown. "Guys, a tip, roll your sleeves over your hands." I whispered to them. Duncan, Courtney, and Cody did as I was told. "Sorry Sierra." I said, not acknowledging Heather also didn't have sleeves. Then we started climbing.

Chris handed us a slip of paper with the name of a song and names of people who he wanted in the scene. Our song was Tango: Maureen and the names were Gwen and Duncan. Wait. Gwen and Duncan? That means I'm Joan and he's Mark. Unless Chris wants this to be tans-gender Rent. Well, on the bright side, this is my segundo paborito song from this show. My first being Santa Fe.
"Well? Who's pag-awit what song?" Courtney demanded. That's right. I was the one holding it. I showed it to her. "Ugh!" she shouted while she stormed into the audience. It was a dream of hers to dance in New York City.
"So, the challenge is to sing the song and improvise staging." I explained. Duncan gave me a weird look. "Improvisation is when you just go with your gut on something, only knowing a little bit of the subject. In this case, lyrics." I told him. Duncan nodded. (I pushed him backwards, still in our dance)

Me: You should try it in heels.

"Pookie." Duncan smirked.

We bowed at the end, going into the audience. susunod was Alejandro and Noah pag-awit Take Me or Leave Me. Funniest. Thing. Ever. Noah was scowling the whole time. He was Joan. What did you expect? "I thinks that it's pretty obvious who wins." He looked to me and Duncan. "Team birago with their fabulous performance. You could tell the two of them had a connection, and that made it easy to improv." He said. Our team started cheering. I saw Alejandro smiling at me and clapping. Then I noticed LeShawna clapping and smiling at me also. I smiled back at her. "Second, goes to Team Victory. They didn't use staging from the actual show. Alejandro!" Chris said, looking at the Spanish teen.
"I saw the ipakita before, and I though that would get us some extra points." He sinabi simply.
"The challenge was to improvise! Not give us the actual thing!" Chris said. "So you guys are sending someone home." He said. Team CRRRRH groaned. "Is what I would say if this were actually an elimination challenge!" he said. Then the team cheered.
When we got back on the plane, there were three giant apples in the elimination room. We sat on the bleachers, ready to get our reward(s). Then Chris walked in and threw me a hammer.
"Have at it Team Amazon!" he said. I walked over to the first mansanas and hammered the top. A bunch of kendi flowed out of it. I smiled.
"Candy!" Cody and I screamed in unison. We each grabbed our backpacks and loaded them with candy. Then Everyone else did the same while Cody opened the susunod apple. It had apples in it. He picked one up and took a bite out of it. I grabbed a few, and managed to fit them into my bag. Duncan punched a hole in the last one, getting a meat grinder.
"We should keep this." He said. "Could come in handy in the susunod challenge." He added. The rest of us nodded. Then we walked back into first class, through economy, flashing out prizes. As I passed Alejandro, I licked a Milky Way bar (A/N: My fav candy!) I stopped, making sure the rest of my team left. I owed it to him for getting me that kendi earlier today. I took out two Hershey gatas tsokolate bars from sa pamamagitan ng bag and handed them to him. That was big. Because that was my third paborito candy. susunod to Milky Ways and Gobstoppers.
"What's this for?" he asked.
"Just a little thank you." I said.
"Why thank you Gwen," he sinabi with a smile. I smiled back, then walked into first class, only to see the sunset from a plane window. The clouds looked gorgeous in the lighting. I sat susunod to Duncan who was downing a box of Nerds. Oh the irony.
"The lighting is beautiful." He said, staring aimlessly out the window.
"Yeah," I sighed. But I soon fell asleep on his shoulder.
