Annabeth's PoV.
Break time, you think would be heaven right? Nope, completely off. Travis and Connor were in a mini prank war, Leo, was complaining about the Argo II, Katie was trying to reason with Connor and Travis. It was failing. Soon we heard a bloodshot scream, it came from the throne room. Everybody ignored it. Then there was shouting.
Hermes PoV.
Artemis shot one through my arm. I screamed. "WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU TRYING TO DO? KILL ME?"

I'm a bit busy with my new forum My Whole Life Was A Lie right now but I'll post when I finish the chapter I'm writing.

The break was over and everyone was walking back into the throne room. Conner and Travis were in a full on prank war now so everyone, including Katie, was being cautious around them. Hermes on the other hand, who by the way had several injuries from Artemis’ arrows, was proud of them and their prank war.
“Let’s continue,” Zeus grunted.
Annabeth grabbed the book and read. Frank put down his polishing rags. He looked at the ceiling. “Please, Apollo, if you’re my dad, tell me. I want to be an archer like you.”
“No, you don’t,” Ares growled.
“Yes, he does,” Apollo gloated. “But sorry he ain’t my son.”
“No, you don’t,” a voice grumbled.
The gods all laughed. Ares just looked angry.
Frank jumped out of his seat. Vitellius, the Fifth Cohort’s Lar, was shimmering behind him. His full name was Gaius Vitellius Reticulus, but the other cohorts called him Vitellius the Ridiculous.
Everyone laughed.
“Better not let Vitellius hear that,” Jason warned.
“Hazel Levesque sent me to check on you,” Vitellius said, hiking up his sword belt. “Good thing, too. Look at the state of this armor!”
“You’re not one to talk Vitellius,” Jason rolled his eyes.
Vitellius wasn’t one to talk.
Everyone laughed, except Jason who just looked embarrassed.
His toga was baggy, his tunic barely fit over his belly, and his scabbard fell off of his belt every three seconds, but Frank didn’t bother pointing that out.
“Why not?” Clarisse snorted. “Maybe then we’d get some action.”
Ares nodded in agreement.
“As for archers,” the ghost said, “They’re wimps!
Apollo, Artemis, and Thalia all looked furious.
Back in my day, archery was a job for Barbarians. A good Roman should be in fray, gutting his enemy with spear and sword like a civilized man! That’s how we did it in the Punic Wars. Roman up, boy!”
“He was in Caesar’s army, not the Punic wars,” Jason shook his head.
Frank sighed. “I thought you were in Caesar’s army.” “I was!” “Vitellius, Caesar was hundreds of years after the Punic Wars. You couldn’t have been alive that long.”
“Questioning my honor?” Jason mimicked.
“Questioning my honor?” Vitellius looked so mad, his purple aura glowed. He drew his ghostly gladius and yelled, “Take that!” He ran the sword, which was about as deadly as a laser pointer,
“I love laser pointers,” Leo muttered playing with one.
Annabeth shook her head a few times but continued to read, through Frank’s chest a few times. “Ouch,” Frank said, just to be nice. Vitellius looked satisfied and put his sword away. “Perhaps you’ll think twice about doubting your elders next time! Now . . . it was your sixteenth birthday recently, wasn’t it?” Frank nodded. He wasn’t sure how Vitellius knew this, since Frank hadn’t told anyone except Hazel, but ghosts had ways of finding out secrets. Eavesdropping while invisible was probably one of them.
“That’s exactly like Conner and Travis?” Piper realized.
“Yup,” Grover agreed. “Their always blackmailing people.”
Travis snorted. “Got that right. So tell me Grover, how’s that bunny phobia of yours?”
“Burn!” Leo said.
“Did someone say burn?” Conner asked. He pressed a button on a mini remote and from the ceiling fell . . .

Fire. "How the heck did you get fire up there?" Travis asked while Leo was taking out everyone's burns.
"Simple, remember how we loaded the volcano? Yeah I used that. Connor explained. "More importantly, I won."
"We know!" everyone shouted then some groaned in pain because Leo hadnt gotten to them.

Everyone laughed.
“That’s not going to help his self-esteem,” Piper between fits of laughter.
“Thanks for reminding me,” Frank muttered. “Yes, I remember my sixteenth,” Vitellius said happily.
“A chicken in the underpants,” Jason remembered.
Several people stared at him like he was a psycho.
“Wonderful omen! A chicken in the underpants.”
“How’d you know?” Thalia asked her brother.
Jason shrugged. “It just came to me.”
“Excuse me?” Vitellius puffed up with pride. “That’s right! I was at the river changing my clothes for the Liberalia. Rite of passage into manhood, you know. We did things properly back then. I’d taken off my childhood toga and was washing up to don the adult one. Suddenly, a pure-white chicken ran out of nowhere, dove into my loincloth, and ran off with it. I was wearing it at the time.”
Everyone in the throne room had a look of disgust on their face.
“TMI, dude,” Leo muttered.
“That’s good,” Frank said. “And can I just say: Too much information?”
“Thank you, someone agrees with me!” Leo said happily.
“Leo, I think we all agree with you on this one,” Jason told him.
Everyone else nodded in agreement.
“Mm.” Vitellius wasn’t listening. “That was the sign I was descended from Aesculapius, the god of medicine. I took my cognomen, my third name, Reticulus, because it meant undergarment, to remind me of the blessed day when a chicken stole my loincloth.”
“His name is Mr. Underwear?” Travis asked warily.
“That’s not weird at all,” Conner said sarcastically.
“So . . . your name means Mr. Underwear?”
“Wow,” Annabeth spoke. “Maybe he’s a son of Hermes.”
Everyone turned their head to Hermes, who was scrolling through his emails. He noticed everyone being quiet and looked up, “What?”
“Is he your son?” Annabeth asked.
“Don’t look at me,” Hermes denied.
“I wonder who his dad is then.” Thalia said tapping her chin.
“How about we continue reading and find out,” Clarisse growled. “Now read Fly Boy.”

"Got a problem with it punk?" Clarisse dared.
"No ma'm." Jason looked away. Clarisse nodded.
"Wait what's going on?" Connor asked, waking up.
"Clarisse called Jason Fly Boy. Wait why were you asleep?" Annabeth explained.

"This book is boring. And our discussions are boring."

Too late, Travis already gave Connor butterfingers, snickers, gumballs, plain old sugar, lollipops, and other sorts of stuff.
In about two seconds Connor was running all over the place.
