I just finished watching The Pirate Fairy and it was without a doubt AMAZING! I wasn't expecting much because my pag-ibig for the Tinkerbell pelikula has kind of faded, though I still think they're good. But this movie is what all the others should have been. I watched Gusot yesterday, so I'm going to ramble about it. I pag-ibig that movie, it's sixth in my paborito DP pelikula list, I think. There were just some parts in th middle that I didn't like, because they gave that cliche adventure feel, like The Snuggly sisiw ng pato sequence. It's a bit creepy how these thugs who murdered people just joy in pag-awit and dancing and suddenly all of their crimes are ok. I'm watching The Little Mermaid right now and it's sooo good! I didn't remember it being so amazing! The songs and the villain...wow! I went to see Aladdin on Broadway tonight. !! I met Jonathan Freeman! The voice of Jafar in the Aladdin pelikula and he played Jafar on Broadway! I can't believe he's still Jafar over 20 years later... it was an amazing surprise, I didn't know he was in the show. It was astounding hearing Jafar's voice live on stage. He's 64, now! I just got back from seeing Divergent and it is freaking amazing! It's even better than Catching Fire! I just watched Mulan (live action) in Mandarin and this makes me want a Mulan live action from Disney. It can still be epic, they should make it like Pirates of the Caribbean it can be for kids but still madami adult-like, I just want an epic movie about Mulan instead of the cartoon all ages appeal I'm sure everyone will pag-ibig it. So I just watched Sinderella and I really liked it but I had one problem. I agree with Lady Tremaine. She was right to abuse her. Sinderella is a whiny brat and she can't fix any problems sa pamamagitan ng herself. She always used the fairy godmother to get what she wants. She is always talking to animals. I just finished watching Sinderella III: A Twist in Time. It's a great movie, I pag-ibig it: it may not have the same magic as the original, but I pag-ibig the new dimensions it added to the characters and story. Sinderella stayed rather true to her character: witty, determined, resourceful and hopeful. It's interesting to note how in this movie her hope is her greatest strength as well as her biggest weakness: she expects things to turn out for the better, so she is a bit unprepared for adversity. I hate that this is happening but every time I watch nagyelo I keep on seeing madami and madami of it's flaws, am less engaged, and can't feel anything for the characters. I don't know how it happened! Just a few weeks nakaraan it was my segundo paborito Disney Princess movie but when I rewatched it for the first time it was just meh. Has the nagyelo hype gone down yet? It has surpassed my tolerance. Also why do people seem to go for the madami bland and boring characters lately? I never really got why people liked Aurora heck! At least Ariel has a personality. To be honest some of the princesses are in fact marry-sues (or whatever) and really that is true. If you like a "bland" Disney character why do you? Just curious. Yesterday afternoon was one of the best I've had in months. I watched went over to my sister's place to watch Disney pelikula and Once Upon a Time with her and some friends, and we all had popcorn, candy, Mexican hot chocolate, and home-made mansanas turnovers while we watched.
