I already had this typed up, I just held it until later because I like to torture you guys >XD Anyway, uy look, she wrote another chapter! I wonder how this is gonna go? Probably terrible for her DX. I'm not gonna bother with OC's anymore. I'm just gonna go with what I have now. Lilly's awesome, and I have Marlene because she's awesome and understanding about... feelings... I think. Anyway! YES! As I have sinabi before Marlene will be in the fan-fic, but I can garuntee there will be no Skilene. Hopefully, Marlene will find someone... Lets just get on with the story :D

Skipper’s head was on the table. He was depressed, no doubt. Private looked just as upset as Skipper was, even though he didn’t know General Hatfield, he still had the right to be depressed. Kowalski and Rico shared Skipper’s pain.

“Gee, I’ve never seen Skipper madami depressed,” Catherine said. Lilly smiled gently at Skipper.

“Does someone need a hug?” Lilly asked, holding her arms apart. Skipper sniffled and nodded his head. Skipper got up and hugged Lilly. Lilly held onto Skipper tight. Oh, if only we could just stay like this, Lilly thought, Forever and ever and ever…

“Um… Lilly? We can let go now,” Skipper said, tapping Lilly on the head.

“Please let this last,” Lilly murmured dreamily.

“Earth to Lilly! Stop hugging Skipper!” Catherine shouted. Lilly suddenly gasped and let go, blushing.

“Sorry,” Lilly muttered, looking down on the ground.

“Ugh, this is stupid,” Catherine said, slamming a flipper fist into an empty flipper, “We can’t just sit here and do nothing about it. We need to get to the bottom of this!”

“Catherine, we can’t,” Kowalski said, “Lilly sinabi there were so few clues left behind that even we did try to solve it, it would be like taking a bus ride to the middle of nowhere.”

“What do you mean Kowaru-san?” Catherine asked, looking at Kowalski.

“I think Kowalski’s trying to say we wouldn’t get anywhere,” Private said. Rico nodded in agreement and Skipper sighed.

“C’mon guys!” Catherine said, standing up on the table, “Remember the limonada Mouth song ‘Determinate?’”

“Only you listen to that kind of music Catherine,” Skipper groaned.

“Well, as the song goes ‘♫I know I, I know I, I know I’ve gotta do it. I know I, I know I, I know I’ve gotta do it!♫’ We know we’ve got to do it! Determinate!” Catherine shouted.

“Catherine’s right!” Lilly shouted, getting up, “Even though there are few clues, we know we’ve gotta do it! For the sake of the general!”

“Yeah!” Rico and Private shouted, agreeing. Skipper perked up a little. Maybe they could do this. However Kowalski was very skeptical. He rolled his eyes.

“What evidence do we have that someone is behind this? We don’t even know where to start!” Kowalski said.

“C’mon Kowalski!” Private said, “We can’t give up hope. It seems like it’s up to us to find General Hatfield.”

“Well,” Kowalski said, looking down. He didn’t know what to say. He started to calculate the possibilities in his head. There was a 10% that they would actually find the general and a 4% chance that he was actually alive. But with the bolstered confidence, the chances almost seemed to increase… sa pamamagitan ng about 7%. Still, a very small percentage can go a long way…

“All right, where do we look first?” Kowalski said, finally coming into this.

“Hoboken!” Catherine sinabi randomly. She covered her beak when she sinabi this. The penguins started at her, hoping she was kidding. Than Skipper got a look across his face.

“I see where she’s going with this,” Skipper growled, “She wants to tanong Hans.” Kowalski tipped his head to the side.

“Catherine and I know that Hans knows where the heksagono is, but isn’t it a little weird that he would go all the way to Chile just to kidnap the general?” Kowalski asked.

“How does he know where the heksagono is?” Skipper asked, a little angry.

“Cause Catherine sinabi this note from Hans says, ‘I know where the heksagono is. Hate, Hans,’” Kowalski said, holding up a worn piece of paper. And sure enough, clear as day, it sinabi everything that Catherine sinabi it had. Right down the “Hate, Hans” part.

“Well, than, we have a reason to tanong him!” Private said, “So… how do we approach this?” Skipper obviously knew.

“I know,” Skipper said, “There’s a ball going on tonight at the Hoboken Zoo, right?”

“The Hoboken Ball?” Lilly said, “But ‘softies’ like us aren’t invited.”

“Than we’ll crash the party!” Catherine said, “Sneak in, beat sagot out of Hans and sneak out. I have yet to meet that hateful little puffin.”

“Well, than, I guess it’s settled,” Skipper said, standing on the table, “Boys, and ladies, we’re gonna crash a party!”

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Marlene fell through the fishbowl entrance of the HQ. Lilly looked and tipped her head to the side.

“Oh, hello Marlene,” Lilly greeted Marlene casually. Marlene waved shyly and looked at Catherine.

“That’s all you’re gonna wear?” Marlene asked, chuckling while looking at Catherine. Catherine nodded her head. Of course, it was nothing, but she had her feathers in pigtails.

“I hate frilly dresses,” Catherine said, pointing to the dress Kowalski had prepared for her. It was a pretty dark purple dress with sparkling sequins.

“I think I can wear that, since I have nothing to wear,” Marlene said, “It looks pretty roomy.”

“Trust me, Catherine is a small penguin. I may have to make a few adjustments,” Kowalski said. Skipper nodded, busy with bowties and such. He was holding a striped bow tie up to his neck when Catherine caught site of a black bowtie. She picked it up and held it against her neck.

“Oh…” Catherine said, amazed. She tied the bowtie around her neck and smiled.

“Perfect,” Catherine whispered, looking at herself. Skipper stared at Catherine strangely for a couple of segundos before shrugging.

“Alright than,” Skipper said. Kowalski was already wearing his outfit. Although he had his bowtie on, he had to take off the monocle and tuktok hat for the sewing job.

“Private, hand me some madami fabric,” Kowalski said. Private was wearing a ang nagboboling hat topped with a bowtie. The only person with a regular tie was Rico, who was also sporting a tuktok hat like Kowalski. Marlene shrugged.

“Wait, Marlene can’t go outside of the zoo without going all crazy,” Lilly said. Skipper looked up.

“True…” Skipper thought. Catherine raised her flipper, waving it as she did.

“What is it Catherine?” Skipper asked.

“In Australia, the humans kept their Aso on collars. That way, the Aso knew they belonged to someone. Trust me, I asked them before,” Catherine suggested.

“I’m not gonna wear a kwelyo like a dog,” Marlene said. Catherine smiled.

“Not unless it’s a pretty collar,” Catherine said, looking around a little. She found some fake leather and started to work with it. She rustled through the fake gems and found some little fake diamonds. She started to make a stylish but comfortable collar. Finally, after about 20 minutes, she held up the finished product.

“Done!” Catherine said. It was a stunning collar, studded with fake diamonds and made of the fake brown leather. Marlene looked at it curiously.

“Here, let me put it on you,” Catherine said, putting the kwelyo around Marlene’s neck. Marlene hesitated at first, but than Catherine adjusted the kwelyo to a comfortable fit. Marlene looked at herself in the mirror. She smiled.

“Maybe this could work,” Marlene said, smiling a little. Than she grabbed at the collar, expecting to burst into flames any segundo now. Catherine chuckled.

“Don’t worry, I didn’t do anything to it,” Catherine said, smiling a little. Kowalski held up the new and improved dress.

“It is done!” Kowalski said, holding it up, “Why don’t you go into my lab and try it on Marlene?” Marlene nodded and took the dress to Kowalski’s lab. As soon as the door shut, Lilly started to look at the wall.

“I thought you were kidding when you sinabi you were inviting her,” Lilly said, looking at the pader furiously.

“I thought you two made up,” Skipper said, “And besides, you need a sarcasm detector. I was just being sarcastic.”

“She’ll jeopardize the entire mission!” Lilly said, than closed her eyes, “I know you guys just don’t want her to get hurt.”

“That’s why Catherine for two buwan has been training her in self defense,” Skipper said, “She’ll do fine.” Lilly rolled her eyes and tried to burn a hole in the pader in front of her. Or set it on fire. One or the other. The door to Kowalski’s lab opened and Marlene came out with the purple dress on. Skipper was busy dipping a black tuktok hat in bleach, since now he was going to have a wear a red bow tie to the party. Catherine looked at it skeptically and smiled. She got out a piece of red silk fabric when he was done and she looked at it.

“Is it dry?” Catherine asked. When Skipper nodded his head, she tied the red silk around it. Catherine smiled.

“That’s better,” Catherine said. Than she ran into Kowalski’s lab for segundo and came back out with a ang nagboboling hat. She placed it on her head and looked at herself in the mirror. She nodded her head.

“So, now, is everyone ready?” Skipper said, adjusting his tuktok hat on tuktok his head. Everyone nodded their heads. The time was 6:00 at night, about one oras until the party started. So the boys decided to head go on the bus, but leave late so they could be fashionably late.

“But I thought we weren’t invited Skipper,” Private said. Skipper chuckled at this.

“We’ll say that we were invited. That way, it looks like its official,” Was Skipper’s to this. So the penguins and Marlene set off towards the zoo entrance.

Yay... I guess. I still need to know if I'm doing this right. Reviews really help :) And because of simile, now you know why its called "The Bus Ride to the Middle of Nowhere". Solving a mystery with very few or no clue is like taking a bus ride to the middle of nowhere. You're not gonna get anywhere without the clues. So... yeah! I don't need OC's anymore. Lilly will do. So yeah. Now if you excuse me, I have to break through this barrier called writers block. *Gets a jackhammer* Its gonna get ugly XD

Chapter 1: Who Calls At Midnight

Marlene's Habitat, 11:57PM

Marlene was sitting down, waiting for a specific Dragon Fly to appear. Finally, he arrived.

"Hey Marlene. Ready to plan all o' this?" asked Scouter.

"Of course I am. Look, I kept a map of the ibong dagat lair. Ya know, in case of emergencies. There are 4 main enterances. First one is the hole hidden sa pamamagitan ng the penguin's pagkain bowl. The susunod are the two windows underwater from the ibong dagat habitat. The last one is the air vent. But I doubt I would be able to fit in those pipes." Marlene explained.

"I got an idea. How about I go through the pipes,...

"PRIVATE!!" The angry leader shouted. He crossed his flippers as he waited for the smallest ibong dagat to arrive.

Rico peered into Skipper's 'quarters', a place for him to relax after missions or just if he has some free time. The heavy penguin's eyes widened as he examined every detail in the room. Full of bunnies and choc eggs.

Damn it, He thought to himself. The...

The penguins ran after Marcus. He was really good at digging. He literally tore through the dirt with his flippers at breakneck speed, leaving the others behind in the dust. The others were running just to keep up with him. Marlene and Brook stayed in the very back, doing their best not to get dirt on their coats.

“Can’t we just go home?” Marlene whined

“Negative, Marlene. Without putting an end to Smith’s tyrannical reign, we will be forced on the lam from our own people.” Skipper replied to her, smiling to himself

“Oh… you know, you’re getting as bad as Kowalski.” she retorted...

"Hello Uncle Skipper!" We said.

Athena moaned "Oh great, now it'll be a living he-"
"Athena!" I scolded "Watch your language in front of Amelia!"
"Oh she's heard worse!" Athena shoved me.
"Ah, ah, ah, no fighting zone thank you." Skipper ruffled my feather bangs. I had to go back and fix it. Agh!

"So what are we gonna do here Uncle?" Albert asked. mostly giving eye language pointing to the TV.
"How about you kids watch the TV? I'v had an exhausted day. Your Aunt left me in charge...

Marlene hopped over beside me. “Hey!” she said. “What’s up?”

“Sky, a few clouds,” I replied weakly.

She punched my flipper softly. “Ha ha. Very funny. I’m serious here.”

I opened my beak to reply when we both heard a loud noise. We both glanced at each other. “We should probably check that out,” I said.

“Yeah,” agreed Marlene.

We slid/ran toward the noise. I flipped on the pader while Marlene jumped up beside me. “What is it?” she panted.

I looked through the binoculars. “Not sure yet- Oh!”

“What is it?”

“Just some guy in a puno animal napping a squirrel.”...
