I have a dream that one araw this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal."

I have a dream that one araw on the red hills of Georgia, the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the mesa of brotherhood.

I have a dream that one araw even the state of Mississippi, a state sweltering with the heat of injustice, sweltering with the heat of oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice.

I have a dream that my four little children will one araw live in a nation where they will not be judged sa pamamagitan ng the color of their skin but sa pamamagitan ng the content of their character.

I have a dream that one day, down in Alabama, with its vicious racists, with its governor having his lips dripping with the words of "interposition" and "nullification" -- one araw right there in Alabama little black boys and black girls will be able to sumali hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers.

j1edwardcullen7 Amazing. Truly motivational. But at the rate were going, this country is going to keep plumiting, and plumiting, and as great, and incredible as I think Obama is, I dont really think he has much power to change anything.

greengirl8 Martin Luther King Jr. was a true inspiration and was peaceful about it. He didn't say that the ends (equality) justified the means (violence). He always advocated peaceful protests, and he was a truly great man.

hetalianstella I remember that I had to memorize this and say it in front of the class in 3rd grade. I still know this by heart. RIP Martin Luther King Jr. :)
